I knew it was you whenever I saw the name ernyoka1, but I could never get a handle on how to spell your old name. So yay! The balance of the world had been made right.
And yes, that does seem to be an odd way to celebrate..... coming out of hiding with your identity with a burka. If you felt a need to celebrate in a normal way you could send me your Lucius Malfoy morph. But then, not being normal can be a good thing, yes? So nevermind...

wdupre what a pretty girl Roxy is! I'm sorry for your loss. It's so hard to lose them.
Roxy looks like one I have. Cute little petite thing.

Two dogs and nine cats. I always considered myself to be more of a 'dog person' until I started to foster orphaned kittens. And that's also when I added five more cats to the herd.

Thread: Tips on positioning mirrors? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I'm interested in this as well. The image I am trying to do is having a mirror reflect the image of someone that's across the room.
Like Linkdink, I'm thinking that the mirror has to be in a very precise position. Very much trial and error and so far I haven't found 'the spot' yet.

Travis loved you so much that he didn't want to leave you.... and you loved him so much that you couldn't allow your friend to suffer.
You gave him the hardest gift we can give them.... to let them go when they need to go even if we lose them physically. But we never lose them spiritually, they will always be with us in that way and our memories.

Thread: Zero Morph Dials | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
"I do. Just go to the REM folder for the individual morphs and start clicking on them.
People, it's easy, I do it all the time, and no, it doesn't take away the morphs I want
to keep. "
So, if I inj 'Elf ears 1' and use it on my character, then later REM Elf ears 1 it doesn't change the ears on the character?
I have been trying to clean up the unused morphs from each body part on a character by right clicking on each zeroed morph and deleteing them. But I noticed that as I did that if it was a morph that was dialed up in body the morph would disappear and that body part would change back to normal.
So that would be nice if I could just REM all the morphs from the pose area without changing my character and yet clean up the character and file at the same time.

Thread: Is it stuck or is it rendering? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Ah okay, I was guessing that having a file with 30 frames would take longer then one with only a single frame. Even if I was only rendering the one frame.
Well, that makes that problem easier to deal with.
Thanks!

Thread: Is it stuck or is it rendering? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Okay... I have been busy tweaking this file trying to reduce the render time. As luck would have it, it does include some dynamic cloth.... I tried to change it into a single frame by highlighting the 30th frame and dragging it to the 1st key frame. But the 30th frame doesn't want to move over to the 1st key frame. Any ideas what I am doing wrong or is there another way to save this as a single frame?
Again I'm using Poser 5

I had read that STOMP worked for hair that stalled out a render. I didn't know it also could work for any object to reduce it's rendering time. That's good to know.
The only time I tried STOMP was for some hair that was stalling out a render. The hair I was using comes in two parts. The bangs worked out fine but the cap part of the hair was a problem. It appeared like it loaded but it was nowhere to be found. Like it was coming in invisible. And it rendered in draft that way too. I deleted the obj file I sent thru STOMP and put back the back up obj file and it still seemed to load being invisible. I've since reinstalled it from the zip file and haven't tried it again. Kinda afraid to. I'm also kinda afraid to try STOMP on anything else.
Ouch jefsview! 12 hours to find out it wasn't going to render it. This render has been baking for a little over 12 hours. Poor machine is still trying to work on it. At some point I might stop it and do the tweaks I should have done in the first place to try to reduce the render time. There's a lot of stuff in the scene that won't be showing up in the actual image.
Thanks for all the advice!

It did flash a warning about the lack of memory and it passed the flicker test so it's probably stil rendering. There are a number of lights from a fire in this scene.
Thanks Jeff!!

I tried to do a search for it but I'm not coming up with anything that matches it.

Thread: poser 6 starts but quits before i get into the program, why? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Do you have the latest video driver installed?
When I installed Poser 6 it did the same thing to me. It would just disappear when I clicked on the material room for example. I looked at the support page at Curious Labs and it suggested updating the video drivers. However, I'm still working with Poser5 because my machine doesn't seem to like the newest drivers.
