Thread: Photo realistic renders | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I think my english is not enough to explain it but I remember from my old times of studing photograph that Bokeh is an artistic efect achieved using a "tool" called Deph of field, DOF in a photograph not allways is a Bokeh, as I say my english is not good to explain it so just google ;-)

Thank you very much BB!!
RobynsVeil, I think they are not in the Acadia list, or I'm not having a good day for searching things, anyway if they are not there Acadia should add them because they are great!!
Thank you all for the replays.

Thread: Poser4 ProPack and V4 V4.1 V4.2 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - Why you would waste your time then screwing around with 10 year old out of date software is beyond me.
I do it sometimes too :-D, simple fun for some of us, most people here do Poser just for fun, wasting time? after all in the proces of screwing around one may learn something useful :-)
I did some fast animation with M4 on Poser Pro some time ago and it worked perfect, magnets on V4 may have something to do with the problem.
Thread: The LuxPose Project - Alpha Stage | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
In Blender 2.5 old 16 mats per figure has been solved making it way better importing poser figures, and the integration of Lux is great, those pictures kobaltkween shows it can be done somehow easy, material aspect like skin is not a problem of the proces, or Blender or Lux, it for shure can be handled

Thread: I hate Poser 8's Library so much... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I find very confortable after opening P8 then open this file "/Poser 8/Runtime/ui/Flex/LSMGUI/bin-release/LSMGUI.html" with Opera or Chromium browsers, I don't know if it is just me but I find it a little faster and confortable, besides this is the way I found to use it in Ubuntu :-)
Thread: Dynamic cloth - the cloth room For Compleat Dummies | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - > Quote - One thing I have noticed in working with dynamics... If you are making a true dynamic set, such as a loose gown/night gown such as in Daveso's render. etc. triangles seem to drape better. This goes against the conforming clothing where quads seem to be the rule.
Yes, some of us tested this a few months back and they worked fine - actually better in some instances. I'm just waiting for the chorus of "Sacrilege! Blasphemy! Treason!!"
;o)
Laurie
Agree about triangles, because of this thread I've just done some test about this and the true is the cloth drapped better and smoother,.
aRtBee, I never use object vertex against cloth poligon or object poligons against cloth poligons, didn't give me good results, I simply use cloth self collision and the default setting for the rest (cloth vertex against object polygon)
Thread: Dynamic cloth - the cloth room For Compleat Dummies | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
That picture Laurie make notorious how nice dynamics can look :-) really beautiful,
Please note that in if you run the animation in the way I do it you will see the sit (cube in my case) moving and growing toward the characater until frame 30

Please note that I use a really bad dynamic dress for P5 Judy, I'm shure that with a better one with more polis it would have worked better.
Look how I set the scene in the first picture, the cube will be my chair
then move to frame 30 and set character pose the way I want in 2nd picture, and most importan I move and scale the cube to the right position and size
note in picture 3 how I use an small space between the char and the sit.
and the picture 4 is the result after 60 frames, with some more frames, it may have look better, the same adjusting the constrain group for the top area.
Hope somebody find it useful in same way. :-)
Thread: Dynamic cloth - the cloth room For Compleat Dummies | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - It would be nice if the the cloth room could recognize conforming clothing, and simply wnhance it further, rather than insist on be a whole separate technology. that it could simply read the different body parts of the clothing, and drap them around the body parts of the figure in a natural way.
dph
That Would be great!! dph, that's something similar to Daz Studio dynamics, you load a dynamic cloth, conform to the character, it move with the pose, then you drape it, but unfortunatelly that would make the proces of creation of a cloth not easy for most people, I think you shuold lear to rig, but it would make the proces of using dynamics way better for most people I think
