Here is another vers. with a little thickness added to the belt. Now the question is should I release the firs or the second?

I have added some thickness to the trim now. For the fun I also have added some materials for this render. @odf, how do you find it. Should I release it as freebee (you will be credited for that work) or do you prefer that I send it to you? If you have any suggestions to improve it feel free to tell it.

And I simply changed the settings for the skirt to Pressure 1 and solidify 100% with particle distance 20 and quads

@odf would you shear the MD file with me? I would like to see if I can do something for Poser cloth room to be able to work. MD is having a top simulation algorithm and Poser should be less good but maybe we can make it working.

The pressure will decrease the folds a little but this is not a big deal you will regain them back when simulating in the Poser cloth room. In fact, you can have a geometry without any fold (like the flat patterns you have in MD) and when simulating in the Cloth room the folds will be generated when simulating. The only difference with MD is that the geometry needs to be welded before importing the obj cloth. If that doesn't help, I'll also try your pressure idea. That might actually be good for skirts in general, but this particular one will still have a lot of folds even when I do a full Marylin Monroe on it.
