Subject: DSO,DSD and DSV files

I want to give some of my objects that are ready to use directly in DazStudio format. I notice that to be able to do so I need to copy some files that are saved in the data folder located in the content directories of DazStudio. Is there any restriction regarding those files or do I am allowed to give them as they are generated from my OBJ files?

You'd need to ask DAZ to be sure, but Maclean has distributed his recent sets in DAZ|Studio format with those files included and I'm not aware of and cannot think of any reason for restrictions.

Thanks a lot for your help. I also have posted this in the DazStudio forum and I am still waiting for an answer.

For those that are interested in the outcome here is the answer I get from Questor: ------------------------------------------------------------ Provided they are created by saving your own models it is fine to distribute those parts of the data folder. If however you are intending sharing a character or some other thing that you have created, no you can't. In that case you can only share the .daz scene file itself or pose/material presets and the person you are sharing with needs to have all the components and have saved them in Studio. Rule of thumb, if it's yours you can do what you want with it, if it isn't you can't. and if there will be other answer I also will post them here.
