All modelled in Bryce? What... How... AAArgg :) Impossible. Ok, how did you do that? Just booleans and metaballs?

You can also boolean a cave out of a terrain with a second negative terrain that is rotated so it is lying down.

Well, This is oen I must say my thought, just can't be silent, I myselve am not a great artist although I did draw a lot when I was small, and I did once vollow a drawing course (a verry long time ago) But whatever I try, I practise a lot but what I make might be nice in my oppinion But when I then looks at works of people like Hobbit I almost start to feel desperate, I become better but I now allreaddy know I will naver reach that level! There are some true artists here that got skills, that isn't bryce anymore. They don't create nice looking images but rocking pieces of art... I think bryce can enable everyone woth a bit of patience to draw verry nice images, but for the true great stuff, you definately need more then practise and that is an artistic eye. Thanks, Johannes

Yep, most people here use bryce in combination with poser and photoshop. Poser for animals and people, photoshop for texturing and post-work. Verry quik you will see that at least photoshop is really needed and poser is perfect for bryce too. Terragen is great but it lacks the possibility of 3d models since it uses a hightmap. It is great to get started in this renderworld. Hope I've been of some help

It might be worth a try just to create trees in the tree-lab and change the y-axes to much lower (sorry for my verry bad englisch)It might become weard but with some tree shapes and the right settings you can create rather convinsing bushes. Regards, johannes

This is true, But what I thought is that those pages (excluding brycetech) are eather to large or not easy to use. They got a lot of scetions and also a lot of broken links (I'm thinking of bryce gronicals and stuff) The power of my site would be that it's bryce only (just a couple of links to similar pages of poser, photoshop etc.) And I've read a lot about making a page usable, webdesigning for the visitors and stuff. Anyway, maybe I'm the too maniest clone with just a little deverent idea. Thanks for replies, although they are not really hopefull for me.

Sorry, I forgot some stuff. I would like to add a section about related software: Links to main poser pages, tuts on texturing and postwork in Photoshop, other 3d-moddeling programs and that kind of stuff. This would also add great value since Bryce is not really a stand-alone application. Second would be a link section with links to official homepages of all the related stuff and important pages like renderosity. Regards, johannes

Ok, I just read this threat, and I think it's a verry good idea. Just wandering if this threat is still alive or if anyone alreaddy started realising this great idea. If not I would really like to to do it. I got the technical skills and the time to do it, and also creating an nice looking interface. One problem, my englisch sucks and my bryce skill is beginner. But I do search the web a lot, and know a lot of sites. If you guys are still interested you could send me all thel inks you know and I will think of sections and technical stuff. Maybe I'm going to use asp to create a database model so that the links can be updated and checked more easy. I really love to do it, but maybe someone is allreaddy working on that? It would be a puitty if this threat dies without being realised. So please send me mail, links ideas and tuts. I also can get a free server that provides what we need, exept for an url, I unfortunately don't have the monney to pay for a registered domain name. Now guys, soon I'll post some idea's for main sections and what I've thougt of. Please take all some initiative and in a month we'll have the ultimate bryce page. Ragards, Johannes
