Looking at your screenshot ... hmmmmm, you aren't using MS Internet Explorer which may explain the problem. I had to return to IE6 as even Netscape couldn't access some sites or would bring up pop ups demanding a password. Tommy.

I just saw a simple tutorial on this in a link on another post. Halfway down the page, I bookmarked it myself to go back later and save it. Tommy.Thread: Dudley Auto is killing me!!!!!!!! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I can render the 57 Chev with my tiny 150 meg of ram, without problems. This PC hates Poser and to be safe I save before rendering, sometimes rebooting before rendering scenes with lots of figures or more than 5 lights. No screen of death though, only frozen Poser program (not responding) Tommy.
Thread: How do I get Vicky or Mike in England woith no credit card? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hi Anthony, we are in Australia and deal regularly with USA suppliers by Mastercard and Visacard. One solution is to apply to a bank for a small limit Master or Visa CC account or arrange for a trusting friend or relative to order for you and reimburse them in cash. There are other methods such as sending money by Western Union (expensive fee 22% applied) or post a bank draft in US currency, the banks love writing them and charging a fat fee. OT but you wouldn't survive long here without plastic cards, our banks/ public phones/ petrol pumps/ utility accounts/ public transport/ libraries/ doctors/ all require some form of plastic card these days, even our bank transactions are all done by "hole in the wall" card machines or wait in a 30 people plus, long queque for teller service. Tommy.

Thanks folks, I think you'll agree that P4 asian male models and morphs are as scarce as hens teeth. Maybe some of our morph making people will pick up this thread and get busy creating some. Tommy.
Thread: I give up. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Dont feel too bad, you just described some of my damnations, I gave up on the handles long ago and just use the dials. After 2 months I'm just coming to grips with the lights, suggest selecting different sets and experiment by moving them individually to see what they do. When you've cooled down and finished pouting, you can come back out of the corner.Remember "Nil desperandum bastardum carborundum" or loosely translated, "Dont let the B.... grind you down" Tommy.

OT but regarding the screen captures, I use screen capture in Corel 9. For those without that luxury use PrintSceen key on your keyboard then paste into wordpad or a photo program. Screen capture and photo programs can be had freeware from places like ZDnet, Cnet and Tucows. Tommy.

I didn't want to be left out..sob! I dont have a Poser site yet, but I design fancy woodwork projects and do have a geocities website devoted to Australian scrollsawing, most of the drawing work was done in CorelDRAW 9. I always get excited when I see a post here from geralday! It always signals that I'm about to get another great freebie for my characters or props library. Surprised no one else has answered yet, but obviously they are busy downloading their warehouse LOL. Thanks mate you are appreciated. Tommy.

Bingo! lmckenzie, I searched in windows 'Find' for cr2editor and found a 1kb file and a 1kb shortcut created january 2002 which I deleted. Can only guess it was a leftover from the Propack demo, as you guessed the error message no longer appears. Thanks to everyone for all their help here today. Tommy.
Thread: Poser Tout-Spam emails? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
The vendors are getting hungrier and smarter since being asked not to use this forum to flog their wares, although many find ways around the rule such as asking opinions regarding new WIP's. The other advertising method being employed is to post freebie textures and add-ons to their products in Free-stuff with links to market place. Tommy.

I have removed and re-installed the program plus restored the runtime folder after saving it on my desktop. But... that "damn !" error message still comes up if a texture cant be located, worse if I'm low on RAM it freezes Poser solid, only escape is cont/alt/del. Yes I did use the windows remove programs to remove the propack demo a month back but the bug only showed up yesterday, have virus checked and defragged to no avail. Virtuals orphan files theory does sound plausible. Tommy.

Thanks Tilandra, still a little in doubt here, just checked properties of my runtime folder and it comes up as 2.16 GIG. I have a burner but not sure how to get over 2Gig on a 700 meg disc, looks like I'd need a method to burn onto 3 Cd's. Is that possible or should I break up the contents into say 4 folders? Tommy.
