My camera also saves in JPEG. I do have the option to save as TIFF also but that sucks up memory cards left and right. I bring my original JPEGs into Photoshop then save them as either TIFFs or PSDs for manipulation. I save the originals exactly as they are and try to never actually work with those originals. The Tiff/PSD copies are what I manipulate. That way I have the originals to go back to if I need too. Also Photoshop allows you to set the level of compression for JPEGs. You can actually save them with no compression at all and that will actually INCREASE the size of the file. I cleaned up a few JPEG to TIFFS I had and got them printed in 8x10 for presents this year. The Photo proccessing place I use prefers TIFFs and he also uses MAC where I us a PC. They came out great too! Photoshop still seems like the program of choice for me! Magick Michael

Santa delivered a Orphan to our house this year. Seems her husband past away this year and my mother has kind of taken her in. It also seems her husbany used to be a photography buff. The Ref sends people to the "Sin Bin" he is not supposed to be in there. It gives the impression that he did somethign wrong as was penalized for it. Bad officating would be his crime! Officials are inconsistant in the NHL & AHL, so the irony of him spending time in the box from being "bad" is just hysterical to me. Magick Michael a true Hockey fanatic

To get the eyes to show I was holding a Mini Mag light on them and holding it steady was a bitch. The problem was that the only exposure that worked was after the water and mug were getting cold. I would warm them and shoot again, but my timing or steadyness were off. I still have some Dry Ice left so maybe I can try again tomorrow. If it evaporates by then were the hell do you get dry ice? OK the kiss was 30 SOME years ago, so that makes me 41. As fro what lens I used, well, I am a semi poor man so i only have a Digital prosumer camera the Sony DSC F707. The lens is a fixed Carl Zeiss zoom lens. I am not sure what zoom I was using. I know that I was at F6.3 with an exposure of about 1/30. Magick Michael
