I agree with PabloS the material room is the key. for example none of those Items were originaly set up to use displacement maps, unless you went in and changed them manualy? if you loaded them stock they have to be set up to take advantage of P5's advanced materials settings.

One of the major benifits is that it has the ability to affect a number of morphs at the same time. speeding up the adjustment time immensely.

Hay that's weird, tried it it works! Wish I'd known that before would have saved me half a dozen trips back to factory settings.

I hope you are right, though I'll never give up P5 it would be nice to have more options. but i'm not sure Daz's program will be direct competition for Poser Dan only mentioned that it was a rendering and animation program that CL "might" view as compitition. perhaps that's a smokescreen and it will be a full blown posing program. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I's sorry perhaps I misstated myself, the interface doesnt freeze up. I just loose the ability of moving the individual control as if the title is out of the screen though you can still see it, i think it may be that the layout is like an html frames layout with the tabs being a navigation bar using a seperate page on the same screen.

I think what they mean is that anything in the P5 library will be deleated but not anything in any new library, say the linked P4 library, or a new library created outside the main p5 library. any folders put in the default P5 folder will be deleated. best to put new stuff into the download folder just in case you need to uninstall

very simple, go into your library find one of the up arrow folders(they're in the top of every library then double click it as many times as it takes to get to the page with the download and P5 folders. at the bottom is a + and - click on the plus then browse in the window to your P4 runtime folder click on that and hit ok and your P4 library is added to the library list no need to load all your stuff you can access the P4 directory from your p5 library. you can also create new librarys wherever you want all accessable from the main library

I own a retail shop and that argument is not the point sure there are skilled shoplifters out there but most security is aimed at the kids who are not so skilled which makes up the lions share of shoplifting and I am going to do anything I can to protect my livelyhood even if it may be a slight inconveniance to a vocal minority of my customers they don't like the tags or the occasional time the checkpoint system goes off for no aparent reason and I have to search their bags. they say they feel like a criminal and I have to appologize saying unfortunately theres no way to tell the criminals from the honest people it's sad but it's true. i have many friends who think there is nothing wrong with copying someone elses programs onto their computer thats the kind of thief this is aimed at and it will likely do a good job of detering those people

the Dynamic hair? yes it can be grown on any mesh. was thinking of making a hairy feet cap for all those LOTR Illustrators out there :)
