My goodness, there are so many great ideas to choose from. I am going to vote for NIGHT because there are so few night photos displayed in the gallery. It gives me the impression that not many of us try night photography and therefore it would truly be a challenge to us. This seems like a great oppotunity for us to improve our skills and bounce our ideas and knowledge of one another. Plus with it nearly being summer the evening temperatures will be perfect for being out. Just my humble opinion, of course :)

The light causing the different shades gives the pattern real warmth and appeal. Wonderful observation skills you have :)

Wonderful imagination you are displaying here. I like the lighting along with the results of the first one. The second one was a great attempt but just doesn't have the same quality as the first photo :)

My first thought was bird poop. It of course could be a water drop, but it looks like a nice day, so I'm guessing it isn't rain. Whatever it is I hope it came off your lense effortlessly :)

Good for you getting out there again, you're gonna be over any apprehensions in no time. They are all great, seem like a fun thing to attend. I have to say number three is definitely my favorite...good timing ;p

LoL...darn funny POV to have pop up in ones face!!! These guys are fast, I'm surprised you could get that close, either that or you have a great zoom lense :)

Both have their good points but I think the second would be easier to send to the digital darkroom to doctor up a bit. I would do some blurring to the food and stuff on the right along with the background. The you will have a better DOF. I would then go and play with hightlight midtone levels some and see if you can give it a bit more oompphh. Maybe up one level on the focus, too. These are just my opinions though and you maybe out for a more softer look. Otherwise I think I think you have a great idea here :)
