Um just out of curiosity, how would one build them to respond to force? IF it is easy, I might try it if not, I will find another way (maybe use Poser hair to simulate long grass). Thanks Mark. Did you have a nice Christmas or non specific holiday of your choice? David

Hi. What I did was select the shader for the branches and apply a gradient colour, with white on top and the branch colour underneath. It worked rather well for the conifer type trees. Unfortunately the image and Carrara file is on a different computer that I do not have access to at the moment. It is late here (after midnight) but if you are still having problems tomorrow night I can try and recreate it on this computer and upload it to you. David

Yeah but they did make Carrara a universal binary, which took time away from creating Carrara 6. I figure maybe a summer release. Just my two cents. David

Wait I thought they did not charge your credit card until the item became available. At least I think that's what they did for me when I preordered Poser 6. Although I live in Canada, so maybe the credit card company handles things differently when preordering items. David :)

Yeah I've been playing around with creating Poser animations in Carrara 5. I'm still really new to Carrara and Poser, but I find that Carrara renders faster on my Imac G5 1.8 Ghz (non intel) machine than it does in Poser 6, but then again my current animation abilities are not very developed.

That's great news and the picture rocks too. I have yet to get Bryce 6 yet but glad to know that it is faster. By the way, this might be a little off topic, but was it you that made a computer game using Bryce? If so could you let me know what game engine you used? Sincerely, David

Heck that's nothing. I paid almost 600 Canadian for bryce 5. And Pakled I'm kinda broke right now too as all my money is going towards replacing my dying computer (and even then I still will need a lone. Luckily my parents will lend me the difference and I will pay them back over the nexts 6 months, unless I win the lottery, in which case I will give you the $6 to get Bryce 6. Here's to winning the lottery :) David

Just wondering if anybody knows here, but will Bryce 6 work on the new intel macs? I'm just wondering because I am upgrading in about 3 weeks, and did not see it mentioned in the mac system requirements. Thanks. David
