wow - my brand-new Vue 4.02.02 for windows came UPS today, and its so full of serious troubles that reading of hard times doing the several updates sounds thoroughly depressing when I just want to get real work done :(

I empathize with the angst of your situation. When my mother was dying and needing constant care, I moved my computer in where she could watch the monitor as I created, and it helped us both. Endure is the only advice I can offer.

Thanks for the heads-up. I think I'll just work around that punish-the-loyal marketing stuff by not purchasing add-ons and working with what I have.

Each year, the schools churn out thousands of would-be Micro-angelos into a trade where only the best survive, and I'm certain the number of people using Poser in 'extended-evaluation' mode is an immense loss of revenue. Given the costs of litigation and the reality of what you can recover from people for whom necessities are a challenge, I think Curious is doing the best it can. I hope this year-end clearance works so CL can not only pay the help, but improve and fix the issues that make Poser so maddeningly slow for professionals that live or die by output. gf@silcom.com
