After that 57 Chev, we can't let you give up Duddly ! If you asked me to model these cars in wood and metal I can, but I'm just not cut out for modelling in 3D software. A couple of possible suggestions come to mind here. (1) I have a few very old (50's)scratch build scale model books with measured drawings of a few classic 50's and earlier cars that I can dig out and scan for you if you can work from technical line drawings. (2) my other suggestion is to take some photos of plastic models and work in something like Photomodeller lite (free) to create the basic body shape. Both suggestions entail you creating an original digital image from scratch and I can't forsee a copyright problem with that. I have photomodeller but can't find time to get my feet wet. If my suggestions make any sense post a reply or contact me. Regards, Tommy.

My gripe too! I do a lot of work in CorelDRAW 9 and really dig the unlimited undo function, miss it in Poser as I am really expert at making frequent bloopers. The other wonderful feature I miss is Autosave that can be reset to any time interval, if you crash or freeze 4 hours into a drawing, just re start and only a few seconds to 5 minutes work has been lost. I have other programs with one step undo such as Photo deluxe that I love and do forget to save often. Maybe their is an add-on program somewhere that gives reminders to save at preset intervals like the annoying MS office clippie. Tommy.

Thanks Staale, I have the earlier model, do I need to delete it for the new version to work or should I just add the files ? Tommy.

My figures from Diamond Creek outside Melbourne Australia, just outside Cable and Broadband coverage using a V90 dial-up modem. 37,333bps...costs US $10 per month...unlimited download but 4 hour bumpoffs. Telephone charges are a rip off with line rental and service fees plus US 15cents per phone call and 10% goods and services tax for dessert. Broadband or cable plus a second telephone line all up would be just under US 50 bucks if I could move my PC 2 miles closer to the "Big Smoke" does this rate a few tears? Tommy.
Thread: 1957 Chevrolet Convertible now available through FreeStuff. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I had a rotten day at work BLUH! fancy working on a public holiday. Then I came home, switched on Rosity and.... WOWoWowO'boy. Dudley you have brightened my day with this gem, can't wait to use it. Quite a lot of old Chev's still running here in Melbourne, went to a friends wedding last saturday and they had a 57 two door pillarless Chevy and a 55 Caddy soft top for bridal cars. At least this one fits my budget, thanks mate, Tommy.

The fact that they have put the artists name in the bottom corner leaves you open for copyright infringement by posting the image here without their permission, ha, ha!
Basically if you had signed and dated the original art (eg:- B.Bloggs 2001) your attorney could now be demanding a nice fee for its unlicenced useage. I did a scrollsaw pattern as a freebie after 911 and gave full permission to all to post and pass it on, but one little scumbag deleted my name and passed it off at his website as his own creation, I threatened litigation and he closed his whole website next day. My advice is dont deface your work but do sign it, by the way if you want a neat copyright symbol to put in front of your name hit number lock on your keyboard then press Alt and type 0169 ,after letting go the ALT key you get (eg:- Bill Bloggs 2002.)
I do sympathise and fully understand your anger at having your artwork ripped off.
Regards, Tommy.

Something worth looking at for your purpose might be a screen capture saved in My Docs, I use Corel Capture but there are a few good downloadable ones available free on C-net or ZD. There is also windows Print Screen command except I have gone blank on how to use it LOL. Tommy.

Just as bad here in Australia, US magazine cover prices are converted to AUS dollars then doubled. Software is not so bad, but recently I enquired about the Poser4 book and was quoted AU$150 + or about 3 times the American price on the web. No copies were available here so I will be ordering from USA eventually. Tommy.
Thread: What is the best way to Organize Textures. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I found my textures folder had too much in it, this caused an annoying effect of auto scrolling to the end by itself while searching. I have created a desktop folder outside of Poser containing misc texture folders that I have downloaded and another for morphs. Works great, I check out the folders and memorise what's needed, then load from the desktop folder when setting up for rendering. The other advantage is avoiding the 300 folders capacity within the program.

Thread: PWFW Members Gallery CONTEST officially opens.. -Guideline & Rules - | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks Ron, Knew I could count on you for the answer LOL. If I interpret that correctly, one would need to be a paid up Poserworld subscriber to enter the competition. That would still be better value than the Global award thread yesterday. Tommy.

Forgotten in my last message was Norton provides a warning screen and will not allow any program or browser to access the web without creating a rule for the future or granting your permission on occasion. Mine is set to highest level and my permission has to be granted for all ActiveX etc. Tommy.
