Rosity should also ban any images of alcoholic beverages, or anything liquid just to be on the safe side. And remember the woman in Texas who murdered her kids because "God told her to?" The e-mail I recieved said: Offer good while boxed quantities last of Poser 6 Special Edition, or until the expiration date of April 30th, 2005 for the Poser 6 Special Edition electronic download. So it looks like the "early adopter special" is good 'till the 30th. (This was the offer to P5 early adopters.)

Ordered it on the 22nd after all the new info was out, and just got the "out of stock" e-mail today. The confirmation e-mail came in almost immediately though (minutes after ordering.) whbos: Might wanna check your spam blocker if using one...

IMHO, they're not hiding, just overwhelmed. And I suspect Digital River was a case of "lowest bidder."

Obviously you have no idea the type of workload it is to write software and prepare for its release. Obviously, CL doesn't either or they would have had all that done before they started "selling" it so that once they did start selling it, they'd have time for customer support. ;) Having said that, I did pre-order today, and discount did (at least appear to) work.

Y'all realize, of course, they said everything would be "out" by the 10th. The last update may have been the one on the 8th. It's entirely possible we've already seen all there is to see. (At least until it starts shipping and forum members start talking about it.)

This is getting ridiculous. Note to CL, putting people on hold until the very last minute to give them info about something they've paid for isn't good business. IMHO, hoping people will buy it before they have all the info isn't good business either. They did get a few that way though.

I haven't seen anyone complaining about the price, just CL trying to sell products before they even had a proper mechanism to accept payments and the discounts they're offering. As far as P5 early adopters complaining, the complaints about how well it worked initially (or didn't) are valid. A lot of folks spent a lot of frustrating hours trying to get it to work as advertised. That got CL some $$$ early, but at the cost of a lot of customer confidence.

Also have to wonder; are they saving the "best for last?" Or did they throw out the best early for pre-orders?
