You haven't used dynamic clothes have you? This happened to me when I saved a file with dynamic clothes. As soon as I went into the cloth room & activated the final frame again, all was ok - when the scene loaded it was with the inital frame rather than the end frame.

The background picture problem happen to me in P6 too when I render in firefly, if I render with P4 it is correct. Don't know why.

Yes I do Wenke, it is lovely.
Sorry, everyone for not being back. I am pretty sure Wenke is correct & the texture is by SubTigee. I searched for Latina in the gallery & found a couple of images with a similar texture to the one above. I have IM'd SubTigee & have been waiting for an answer.
I also found this in the freestuff area by Pizazz - http://www.renderosity.com/freestuff.ez?Form.Contrib=pizazz&Topsectionid=0
As soon as I hear from SubTigee, I will let everyone know.
