If you have the applicable wav & can type the words phonetically I don't see why Mimic wouldn't work

Snow Sultan did a great series of seam guides for texture maps that are available in FreeStuff. In fact I used them for the Tiger texture that I just posted for Posette & they work wonderfully :-)

Since the original meshes are, I believe, from Zygote you'd have to use Objaction to encode it & post in pcf format.

I can't say I'm entirely objective on this, since I do have a "for sale" texture set for the Vicki clothes pack donated to the store, however I'm afraid I don't understand your objection. If I design a killer plugin for a specific software package (PSP, PS, etc) does that mean I'm not allowed to sell it but doomed to give it away just because I didn't write the original program? Perhaps the next time you purchase a custom accessory for your car you should explain to the vendor that he should just give it to you because he didn't build the original vehicle :-)

I doubt seriously that you're responsible, Ironbear :-)... it's prolly just one of the myriad bugs that crop up in the system, from time to time. Jack & ed, et al, have been busy working on the coding for the site & I'm sure it will be up & running in no time.

I'll second the congrats... nice to see some of the talent in the Poser world getting a bit of well deserved recognition from the "outside" world :-)

Konan you might also want to make your announcement in alt.binaries.3d.poser. There are a few of the regulars who are getting into animation so you could possibly find some interest there.

Otay... here comes more than you ever wanted to know about gondolas :-) As to what my design is based on... I just d/l'ed pics from the web & scanned a couple from my library so I could get an idea of the hull shape & relative dimensions, but it most closely resembles illustrations I found of a a couple of traditional styles (Sdolo & Sdolo da barcari) that were featured in a book on the History of Venice :-) Two traditional gondola decorations that I did leave off (because of my relative lack of skill as a modeller) are the "fero" (iron decoration at the prow) & "felse" (a removable tent-like apparatus used for privacy) Once I manage to beat Lightwave into submission I hope to add those later. I didn't bother to "dress it up" because most of the traditional accoutrements,(lanterns fore & aft, various bench type seats, pillows, etc., etc.) are available in FreeStuff or elsewhere & I saw no need to "reinvent the wheel :-). Just as an example Del has a wonderfully detailed lantern in FreeStuff that would be perfect :-)

Yuppers, they are most closely associated with Venice & I used reference pics of a traditional Venetian gondola, (pointed nose, curved hull, "V" shaped open oarlock, etc. :-), when putting this together, although you can find similar watercraft in a lot of different places
