Thread: Where to put a vein map? (The second try) | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I think you may have to edit this file onto the original bump map you want to use in a photoediting program. I do not believe it will work in either of those other areas. (btw...is this vein bump available in free stuff somewhere?) Rawn
Thread: What's the First thing you are going to do with Poser5 ??? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I think the first thing I would do is buy a new computer with enough power to run it.....this PII is straining with poser 4 already. Rawn

I dont know about the obj thing....but the fire you see has a transparency map on it, and that is why it appears as it does on your screen. But it will look more like fire when you render the image. (I have been wrestling with alot of transparency maps lately) :) Rawn

do you also have listings for horse accessories like (what I am searching for currently) a saddle (preferably a medieval one)? Rawn

I am sorry that I cannot help with your camera question. But this model is quite nice, is it in the marketplace somewhere? Rawn

haha...if that was my skin I would go see a doctor immediatly :) j/k but it is a texture I made from some high res photos that I have on file. I made him a bit yellow to look sickly, and added the tattoos after. Rawn

Thread: Picture and questions | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
oh...wait wait wait......I was able to grab this by material and move things around on the screen. So...if I move them, will this now not map properly onto the object?...hmm...maybe I should try it and see first :) Rawn
Thread: Picture and questions | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
hmmmm.....I do not have any right click options....could it be because I only have the freebie uv-mapper application? (or am I truely dense?) Rawn
Thread: Picture and questions | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Select by material does show the objects as different colours.....but even so, what can I do with it then? They still are overlapped. (sorry if I sound a bit dense here) :) Rawn

Hello Again
With UV mapper, when I had it to "colour by group" it showed as being all one colour (as per the image here). But as you can see...it seems to have the beard bottom overlaying the beard top, and some strands thrown in for good measure. Now I know this all doesnt matter too much with beards, cuz a great deal of it is burried under texture and transperancies anyway...but if there is something I am missing it would be great to know, if something like this should occur with other objects as well.
As for the robe suggestion....I will still have to check that out :)
Thanx
Rawn
