Poser is in my D drive. I don't have room in C to install it. It's possible that the RSR file for the figure object, in the case newFemaleNudeHiP3.obj could be corrupted. The RSR file for the snake in the animals section was corrupted. Which figure exactly does this obj go to? Is it the P3 fem? I don't work with the P3 people hardly at all so I wouldn't have noticed a corrupted file on them. I use the P4 people. I've only once successfully edited a CR2 file (Trench Coat Man). The PZ3 file was absolutely humungous! I wouldn't know where to start!

No, I've stayed away from the patches, not until there is a final one. None of the files I've tried are CR2 files. All are PZ3 files that have been posted. I do not understand this problem. Perhaps if someone has the Miroku character and it loads on your system, you could resave it and e-mail it to me and I can see if it still does it. As it is now, all I can do is save the hair model because that's all that comes in.

I was trying to make a map of one of Mobius's hairs (The one I used on my Vyper) because he'd look oh so much better with transmapped hair. It was a little bit of a nightmare, ask Foxhollow, he was trying to walk me through it through ICQ. The produced map had two meshes one on top of the other! I've e-mailed Mobius in hopes that he already has a template for that hair! Iky, check you e-mail for my profuse thank you of the tatami mat!

Oh, you guys are nasty about those transmaps!!!!! I'm so new at this I could scream!!!! My sister, Verdie, has been using computer art programs for years. I've only recently touched one. I am a traditional artist in colored pencils and I don't see pictures in little squares (pixels), I see at curves and light and shadow and at best, dots. My sister says it's because my mom didn't make me do needle point like she did her. I've tried to talk Verdie into doing textures but her computer is much slower than mine and has a smaller hard drive. I'm trying to think of a way to transfer the demo of PSP to her computer and let her tinker with it. I'm just glad that I figured out how to do the above modification to a basic P4 Male texture! But now that I've seen what the lasso tool can do, I think I see how clothing is done. I do have a question, Iky, since you're tapping your foot, is the base template for the Catsuit on the second disc of P4? I've not looked yet at all that's on it. Or do I have to hope that someone will take pitty on me and send me the template to play with! (Oh, and I get it! "She's a newbee! We can convince her that transmaps are easy! Then she'll do them for us!")

Don't know (scratching head vigorously), mine came in just fine after I used Explorer.

Use your Windows Explorer to change the name of the obj file in the Geometries folder, it recognizes the case differences in the names. I was getting a whole mess of files I couldn't open until a friend told me to change the names with the Explorer. My problem is I have several characters that come in with everything EXCEPT the body. The hair and accessories will be floating in space with now body. What's that about. One in particular is a character called Emma Peal and Darkchylde won't come in. Anyone know what's up with that one? Dreamspinner (also scratching head)

He has slugoodles of morphs. I had to do extensive sculpting on the P4 Dork's face to get my Vyper character. All morphs were from Trav's place. Vyper would not be possible without them! Sure there are a couple more I wish he'd make, like one to hollow the cheeks, but he'll get to them eventually.

Better be careful, Thorne, there's a Plague running around Renderosity!!!! : ) Need to protect your faeries! (Check out Plague Victim texture I posted)! Let us hope this Plague is confined only to Poser Dork Males!

Okay, I'll post up here the whole modified texture. I also made a bump map and that helped the grossness a lot. You can either e-mail me for the bump or just have Poser make the bump.

Yes, I agree with the suggestions. However, I DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO IT YET! I was just thrilled that I figured out how to use the Lasso tool and then insert something cut to the clip board. Took me ten minutes to do this grossness yesterday. I can post the texture map up here and someone who knows what they're doing can add to it. It could be a group effort. I only ask that when someone puts the bruises in and what not--they tell me how they did it.
