I had the same problem :my computer was often lock up with Poser.It was about my memory ram.Check with memtest if it is ok:sometime i had write errors on one of my DDR memory.I change it for new one and my probleme was fixed.Or Check if you are enough memory for the scene you are create(too more peoples and props..)...Poser is not the best soft for manage memory.Now with 2 meg DDR ok i have no more freeze with Poser

I also bought Powerpack recently (with Transposer) and versions for Carrara 3 was on the cd .In fact i got two cd for Powerpack :one with only versions for c2 and one with both versions.sorry for you! .But anyway you can download updates from DigitalCarvers site and use your sn from power pack

Thanks for suggestion.Don,sorry if i have introduced confusion:i just mean that myself i just use 2-3 instruments, so it is just a question of need versus money .I did some poses and i must admit that Don did a big,very big job for 200 poses.My problem is having correct positions for fingers,hands when your are not musician.Someday, i have posed a violonist and a friend of mine say it was impossible to play with this position and correct me(he was playing violin himself, not me).That why i was talking about photos reference.

i have a new one 2,8 gHZ multi threaded P4 but i think the most difference (more speed,more models in the same time,etc ) is coming from two dual channel DDR 400 memory chips for a total of 2 gig of ram.See in your motherboard documentation for dual channel support and on your bill if the store give you these memory chips

Sorry but it is not possible to export Poser file from VUE Pro. If you import others formats ,it seems ok but, for poser files,you get a message saying that yours objets are locked.

Simply to say i am pleased that one company will keep Poser alive.I use it a lot despite its bugs.I am also ok with the future existence of Daz Sudio:but i can say nothing about it because it is not available for now...accordind some it will be a the next best thing in the world but they didn't use it now and then.So I have Poser,i use it and i hope it will be better with a new release update...and i will use and comment about Daz Studio when i will have it,not in my dreams. Thanks to Katherine for informing us!
