thanks

Not tested yet, but Poser 12 works in my Vue Xstream 2016 R5 (R5 is your target). I've been testing and making notes on Poser 13 for other purposes, and I see no reason why a Poser 13 scene would not also work. There are two wrinkles, though.

1) Vue 2016 and the new subscription Vue still only have a SDK that 'knows' about Poser 11. This means that if you're making scenes with content that's located in the Poser 12 or 13 runtimes, you need do the following:

i) install Poser 11

ii) tell the Poser 11 Library where your Poser 12 and/or 13 runtime is.

iii) Vue, thinking the scene file is from Poser 11, with then know where to find the Poser 12 or 13 runtime and will load the content and materials.

2) However, even then Vue may not understand a few highly advanced Poser 12 / 13 Cycles (SuperFly) materials, if they use new custom / experimental nodes. It knows about SuperFly... but if you've been getting fancy with Blender Cycles recipes and node-juggling, then Vue is probably not going to understand the nodes.

Ideally you would build your scene in Poser 11.x, then save and open the scene in Vue, if any flavour of Vue is your target for rendering. Poser 11 can currently be had for $80 from NeoWin, so even if you have to buy it it's not a great cost. It installs nicely alongside 12 and 13.

Finally, note that Vue render times may be speeded up by the free Poser script that disconnects all bump maps in the Poser scene. This is intended for removing the speckles on a Firefly line-art render. But it is also of use for Vue. Bump maps are no use if they can't even be seen in a large 'distant-view' Vue scene at 3000px.

Just tested a scene in Vue 2016 and the new Vue. Both work, as long as Vue's Poser import SDK is told that there is a Poser 11 install on your PC, and you follow the instructions above re: runtimes. Saved in Poser 13, rendered in 54 seconds in Vue 2016 R5 at 1600px:
