Momcat I disagree. Pre orders, orders, or back orders are not charged until the company ships the item. Go to Amazon or any other company with an Internet presence. Every time I've looked they state that accounts are not charged until the item is shipped. Jackson, What, to you, made it clear? To me at the very least it is an ethical issue. It's not unheard of for companies, even very large companies to in fact, suddenly sink and take their customers and investors money with them. Does Enron or Worldcom ring a bell? How about the sudden disapperance of MetaCreations, right in the middle of an essential bug fix for a previous version of Poser?

Kupa, That picture is unbelievable! The realism you can get out of P5 will be unmatched. I mean ... those faces look real! And to think you can have 13 unique people a box prop, cars, tiled ground, at least two buildings, and some foliage ... WHEW! Look at all those clothes, and white panties to boot! And look at those shadows! There's got to be some great lighting in there! Finally, real sun! And you don't need a special computer?!?! Here's something else curious. Only one person wearing a watch? I guess 9-5 doesn't exist at CL! How long until it's Tuesday?

It would be awful if crosstalk was not fixed in P5. Preventing people from having multiple characters with unique characteristics based on one is a major problem. The kludge that's out there is cubersome at best, especially for those who haven't grown up with the problem. If CL has not fixed that I would think long and hard about upgrading.

BastBlack & Mosca, While I have no specific knowledge concerning the Mac version of P5 I can tell you that CL has been very very supportive of the Mac. I for one have complained that the Mac has limited the PC useability of the program because Poser does not take full advantage of what the PC offers. CL has acknowleged that while that "may" be true, supporting the Mac environment was vital to their future. I think the reason for the Mac delay is because they want to get something out the door and begin generating some income. P.S. I do not wish to enter into a Mac vs PC war.

Kupa has made mention a number of times about a very specific business model they are using. I don't think he gave a preview on a wim (or distraction). He obviously has to know what the effect a P5 announcement has on their P4 sales and from what I've heard they can't go long without income. So, my guess is it will be sooner rather than later. If not, it may turn out to be never. Jim, If it's good people will want it. The "old fashioned" way will be in vogue for quite some time.

If it's not there already it probably won't get in there. If you'd make the suggestion more formal go to CL's website. They have a wish list there. Most likely, your best bet is to wait for the P6 wish list.

For some reason my messages are not making it up today. At least as far as I can tell. Little Dragon, I can't get that to work because when I try to load it I get an error message asking me for an .obj file of the same name. Should I rename something?
