Easy - create/implement a nudity filter and stop trying to nanny the rest of us. But then, that would mean spending some of their profits on upgrading the software here - and that has not happened recently!

Miki should not be on that list. Although she has some faults, she is the closest model there is to an accurate portrayal of an Asian woman. I've posted in another link the problems Rosity would face if they were a European company but something else occurs to me.

Someone needs to give the Rosity Admin team some education in understanding the norms of other cultures. I have not found anyone of Asian origin who believes Miki to be any other than an adult.

My main question though is, does the Rosity Admin team even care?

It would be interesting to see what would happen if a merchant were to offer a character based on Miki but with bigger breasts to conform with the Admin team's WASP stereotyping on female ageing. As it stands, the ban on MIKI is an insult to Asian women adn, indirectly, to all women blessed with smaller than average breasts.

They should come clean with their agenda: either, no naked promo pics at all in the store, even on pages 2 and 3, or they should ban all of those that are clearly under age, including, as SVDL points out, Luke and Laura. Edited to say that this post crosed with the one above and I too believe that it is part of a move towards an eventual total ban on nudity. It would not surprise me if someone at Rosity has attributed the growth of Daz to their 'no nudes rule' and wants to implement the same policy. If this is the case, then they should come clean and say so

Renderosity is extremely fortunate that it is an American and not European company. With Miki clearly being an adult yet banned as, in someone's opinion, being underage for nude apearances, yet V3 being clearly adult adn not banned, Rosity would face a huge racial discrimination case in Europe on the grounds that they are not treating 2 different racial groups equally. Incidentally, I have come across no eprson of Asian origin who considers Miki to be any othar than an adult. Perhaps before taking such a patronising approach, Rosity should consult the ethnic group concerned. And in European Law, whether it is deliberate racism or ignorance of racial differences make no difference. And if a merchant could show that their sales had suffered as a result of the ill-informed ban, Rosity would also be liable for loss fo earning and/or restraint of trade. Law aside, it shows that as far as Rosity admin is concerned, age is dictated by the size of a woman's breasts.

And ther irony of it all? PayPal and ebay are owned by a religious group who are promoting the no-nudes policy. Yet, you can go on ebay, buy porn and pay for it with PayPal. This is a great contemporary definition of hypocrisy!

ok, the easy one first, number 4 Onve the pic is rendered, look above the viewing window. You will see from left to right, the size of the render, whether its a full size render, the renderer used. There is the then a space and 3 icons together. The one furthest to the right shows a litle picture with an arrow curving up to the right. If you hover the cursor over it, it says 'tear off'. Click on that to get a full size version of the render. If you then click on the 'x' on the top right hand corner to close it, you'll gett he option to save the image before closing. I've never tried to render to a separate window in Poser 6 due to the tear off facility. I've never compressed Poser files so I can't help you there. Question 2 leaves me a little puzzled as to what you mean - if I want a preview render, I go to render/render settings and click on the preview tab. Set the settingsa s I want them then click Render Now(Preview). IS this what you meant or have I missed something? If you haven't already, install the Service Packs and enjoy Poser 6 Good luck Nic

The less complex the pic, the biger the bucket size you can try - with P6, I'm currently using a bucket size of 256, with 1.5 gig of RAM.

I have a garage full of the, field hockey sticks that is, but I guess you want the rendering kind!
