You explained that very well. I was wondering, too, if it had to do with perspective. I notice in Terragen projects, that those landscapes generally have a great deal of depth to them. I find it difficult to get that same feeling in Bryce, yet I have seen it done.

Those trees are cute! Sort of makes me think of Oz, but nicer trees, not those mean apple trees.

Thank you for the feedback. This will help in, hopefully, convincing my benefactor I need this.

I'm finding this thread very helpful, as a newbie who is saving her pennies for some of the goodies out there that you artist's have listed. Thank you
Thread: REPOST (again :) Your opinion about the best of the best | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Best, quality, superb, inspirational - that doesn't matter. The gist of Amp's original post was to get an opinion from other artist's on what they preferred working with so that he could use that information to make his purchase decisions. After all, Renderosity is a community of artists who are here to pool their knowledge of resources. The fact that you are jumping on him for his semantics is just plain silly. Instead of worrying about whether or not he's trying to instigate a competition between artist's, why not give him the benefit of your expertise in the field. Now, since I am at fault for adding to the perpetuation of this thread, I'll say no more on the matter. Apologies in advance for offending anyone - just speaking my mind.

Shlabber, your post wasn't necessary, in my opinion. Amp is trying to make an informed shopping decision and he's simply asking for everyone's input. It wasn't necessary for you to slam him like that. I'm new to Poser and I hadn't seen his thread the first time around, so the re-post helped me - this newbie who needs to also consider shopping. It's a post like yours that makes a newbie afraid to speak up.
Thread: Would someone consider a trade? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I have grabbed those free uniforms and that is a start. But I've nowhere seen a Captain Kirk. It seems the aliens and newer characters are more popular. If anyone is interested, though, my offer stands. Thank you
Thread: KPT3 & Terrain Editor - still at a loss | Forum: Bryce
I'm finally getting some results. Wadus, you had the solution there. It was selecting new that was producing nada. I'll play around and then pop up what I come up with. Thanks everyone. s

Kaom - That's what I've been doing all night. All that I get though is the black square that you get when you hit "New". On any filter that I use, nothing shows up in the little preview screen. And clicking apply, in the hopes that something is invisible, doesn't help. I've had Bryce 4 since it came out and that's what I always came up with (also in the 2D lab) so that's why I couldn't understand what use the plugins were. Could there be something wrong with the programme itself?

Thread: KPT plugins with Bryce 4 | Forum: Bryce
This is a great site, but so far no KPT tutorials. However, I thank you for pointing out the plugin is accessible in the 2D lab. That I didn't know. I've been messing around with the control I found in the Terrain editor.

Thank you, Moonbiter. No TOS figures, but I did grab some interesting stuff to play with. If anyone sees anything else, please let me know.
