Vue I and Vue5 are not Poser 6 ready yet. They are working on a Mover update. Poser 6 came out after the fact and these are 2 different companies. They are under no obligation to share info with each other. When they do, its to make both products more attractive. Now that Poser is concentrating on rendering and lighting more - they have nearly no reason to care if Poser 6 files will work on Vue products. Too bad for us. We can only hope they continue to work together for our benefit. I never render in Poser, so I'm hoping Mover can be fully updated as well. I'm still using Poser 5 even though I have 6.
Thread: Latest on Cornucopia? | Forum: Vue
Promising something at the time of purchase that is not available for months after the fact is bad form to say the least. I had entirely given up on the Cornucopia thing until I saw this post. Even if they have a good reason, not at least e-mailing those of us they owe is a very bad idea. As a business owner myself, I know what I am saying here. It is not the customers job to contact them about their unfullfilled promise in the sales promotion, It's their responsibility to contact us with a explanation. They are great about technical support, but their customer support is terrible. They owe all of us either $50.00 or the promised merchandise. Like I said, it has been months - not days or weeks - MONTHS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If I did this same thing at a retail level our State Attorney General would have me in court and would hit me with a large fine for each customer whether I made good or not. It is reasonable to expect what was promised at the time of purchase. How hard could it be to contact the people they owe with an e-mail. Not very!

Thread: will this video card work? | Forum: Vue
I'm using the same graphics card in a pentium 4 laptop. Works fine. Shut down open GL, save file, then reopen before rendering and renders go fine. Some features actualy work better than on my power house PC. I do not know why. Older Mobo I guess.
Thread: NEWBIE to Vue 5 Esprit, HAS PROBLEMS!!! HELP!!! | Forum: Vue
Go to your libraries browser (default location is the right side of the screen). Select the libraries one at a time. At the top of each library is a folder. Double click to open. You should then see a list of runtimes. Click the plus (+) sign at the bottom right of the bar. Locate your Poser 4 runtime and add it. Then open all your files in Poser 5 and re-save them. Then open in Vue and most of your troubles should be solved. I believe the head issue is because you need to create a new character file with the new head. Then open the new character and pose and then import to Vue. Hope this helps.

Thread: Animation rendering problems. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks, I am rendering "Full frames uncompressed" and using linear interpolation but still getting bad results. I am going to take your advice to "use image sequence" and do the animation in Adobe CS. Thanks for your replies:)
