Thread: An inquiry to links of people using Poser for animation | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL

Wow. Interesting use of CGI. It's yet another example of just how flexible this technology is - both entertaining and genuinely helpful. Thanks for your post. :-)Here's a link to my Artist Page here on 'Rosity that includes a sprinkling of my Poser animation. (Nothing fancy, mostly just my sense of humour running riot) :-)
I should mention that the quality is pretty rough on some of them - I lost the originals in a HD crash, so these are the salvaged mini MPEG1 versions. (The originals were broadcast quality and pristine...boo hoo!)
You'll find the Poser "underground" of animators are a talented bunch - not many of us, but we love what we do with the program! (Check out Little Dragon and Wolf359's stuff!)
Dave :-)

Hi Fraser,Modeling an explosion? Now that's tricky! :-)
I have an explosion in my FX Pak. Like all the effects in the Pak it's designed for still images. Would that do?
Dave :-)

Hi Chris, I don't have Cinema, but I think Pro Pack is the only way to do it easily. Any Cinema 4D users here know another way? Dave :-)

Hi Cybrbeast,Yep, Dolphin's advice is sound! You can do this in postwork or with nerd's excellent volumetric fog tool. Also My FX Pak 2 includes an effect called "Creepy Mist", it can be resized and moved to suit all kinds of situations.
The image above shows the finished effect after rendering.
Dave :-)
