Well just got to look at the new site and well, it just looks like Daz has bought Rendo the colour scheme is exactly the same as Daz's except where it is white it is grey and so on and so forth.

And well the Rendo title is pretty well uninspired and dull.

Yes I remember that, the site had a unique flavour all of it's own which made it stand out from the crowd..

But what I can not fathom is this stubborness of the crew running this site, no matter the amount of criticism that they have gotten over these changes (and there has been a lot of it) they are still pushing forward with these changes.

And if it is still being worked on why not make sure all the changes have been completed instead of this what I can tell is a hap hazard approach to its implementation.

The "Other Site" as folks are what I gather calling Daz's site at least they from what can tell and or remember had their site pretty much complete and ready to go (apart from a few hiccups here and there).

In the end Rendo will just become like every thing else and have no uniqueness it will lose what made it stand out from the crowd but I think it is already too late.

Yes unfortunately for me the new look does hurt my eyes a lot.  The reason I see it so is so much white on a dark colour background bad idea.  The reason the Daz site works well is that the colour scheme is not so over powering and easier on the eyes.

But here it is to much of a contrast and thus harder to look at and after awhile one begins to get headaches.

Just looked at my wishlist and well it is a close copy of  Daz's in terms of giving you a cost total of the items on it there was nothing like this before wondering why now.

And looking at the header even more it is a close copy of Daz's colour scheme, will be interesting to see what happens next.

I just liked the old system and really don't know what they were thinking with this system.

This new market place setup is total rubbish, I liked the old system where I could choose what figure type the item I was looking for whether it was hair or clothing for Vicky 4 or Genesis, and so on and what program it was for ie: Poser or Daz Studio.

In short the new Market Place is beyond terrible it is horrendous.  

You will now find the fangs back in the free section now. :)

The way I see it if it is in free stuff section or in the free stuff forum, then it is there to be used by everyone if you give the creator of the free item some credit then I see it as a no brainer (if the picture is going into a commercial product like a comic then that may be different and finding out what the creators stance on commercial use certainly helps).  

The main thing though is that it gives the creator of the free item a sense of "Wow so cool to see someone use my creation in one of their renders."

But in all it is up to the creator of the picture, for me I use a lot of free items where I can but most of my pictures use purchased content.  

Maybe so, but even a warning posted at the top of the freestuff section when people go to check what new downloads there are would have been fair.

Like I said I don't always read the forums and didn't know and was expected to know that there was a cleanup happening.

I do not know then because it was the same file that I had linked back in 2008, and the file is still on my personal webspace given by my ISP. Maybe the thumbnail got deleted by me by mistake but the file is still there.

The link I have posted in this thread to the file if I remember right is the link that was used in the my freestuff section.

But since the links in the freestuff section have been deleted I am unable to test them myself, and from what I remember they were still active in September this year.

Would have been nice to receive a warning email or something to say that there was a clean up coming instead of finding out this way, since I rarely read the forums I did not know. And they were still active but not anymore.

Hmm, I got her when she first came out (Stephanie 4 Elite for V4), you mean to say they've upgraded her since?  Not sure what you mean by "re-releasing".  Anyone know this?

Meant in that when they released the Stephy4 shape for genesis way back when, it was for a limited time only. Well seems that consumer pressure and so on prompted Daz to put the stephy4 shape back in the store, this could probably be due, to the release of Stephy5.

And with Daz re releasing the Stephanie 4 shape to their store even better now. :) I found that Stephy really good for the extra morphs that were provided.
