Cave drawings from 10,000 years ago is art. The tools the cave people used were rocks. Not so long ago we have paint and canvas, and there was art. Computers came along, and we have electronic art. 100 years into the future, who knows. The tools are different, the creativity is still there. Art, is still subjective. If you have an audience or critics, you've got art. Here is a definition in the dictionay: Art = The conscious production or arrangement of sounds, colors, forms, movements, or other elements in a manner that affects the sense of beauty, specifically the production of the beautiful in a graphic or plastic medium. LOL expensive? hardware is hardly your concerns. Here's the break down. Computer: $650 (I reuse my old monitor, hd's and memory)Poser 4 $199, propack $149, Daz Victoria 1.0 $99, 2.0 upgrade $35..... shopping at Daz and Rosity market place for the last 4 months $2000, I think I lost track.. I vaguely remember getting my house refinanced sometimes last October.... (I think I need serious help)!

I have an AMD XP1800+ with 1 GB of ram on Winders 2000. I've experimenting with multiple characters with multiple textures and bump maps on one scene. No problems so far .

Now here my other 2 pennies, Thoughts on Win XP. I have no problems with upgrading to a new OS, and I don't have a problem with Microsoft making money. I just don't wanna dish out $120 for an OS that will render my modem, and CDRW useless. Maybe when MS comes out with a "service pack" for all these fixes, I'll bite.

Here's my 2 pennies. I had a Athlon 1.2GHz machine with 512 MB of RAM running on Win98SE. Poser 4 locked up occasionally. Taking away 256 MB, and it locked up less frequently. A month ago I upgraded to an XP1800+, 1 GB of mem, and Window 2000 with service pack 2. I have yet to encounter any lock ups. Joey V
