Yeah, that's what I'm looking to figure out how to do. Is it a filter of some sort? I have Photoshop 7 and Paint Shop Pro 8.

Thanks for the explanation..and you're right, sounds too scary and icky for me ;-) The models, however, look great! I'll be sure and check out the other ones, even though they gross me out ;-)

They look great....I had never heard of these "Cynobites" until I went into a comic book store with my son the other day and happend to look at some action figures of them. Needless to say, I was mesmerized and totally grossed out at the same time. Ewwwwww!! But then again, I'm pretty squeamish when it comes to any kind of "scary movies" and stuff like that....gives me nightmares. Why are they all bloody and partially torn open anyway?

Thread: UV mapping/grouping question | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
That's kind of what I thought. I guess I didn't explain it very well ;-) I've just discovered that in Wings3d, you can't assign groups and have them export. You can, however, assign materials. So one of the ways around the groups thing is to assign materials in Wings3d that actually correspond with the groups you want, then you can export it to UV Mapper, select by material and then assign it to a group. However, now I'm a bit concerned that you said never assign a material group the same name that you gave to a bodypart group. Why is that?

Shhh, don't tell Nintento! It's Koshini- Space Bounty Hunter...... Ah, there are "shoulders", as a seperate prop. ;-) Had a little problem with them, though, because her head and the helmet are so large, I had to scale the shoulder balls back. I'm going to whip up some more detailed textures and I've got another prop to make for it. I'll keep everyone updated.

I'd like to thank you all for your help. Steve: Got the CR2 you sent me, but it still didn't work. I do thank you for trying and for the complement on my modelling. This is my first, whole conforming outfit that I have done and you made my day! Anyways, what I did was I went back to square one. Went into my modeling program (Wings 3d) and renamed all my groups (Wings is weird, you have to assign materials for the groups you want and then export to UVMapper, where you can then assign those materials, group names). Then I went and bought Quick Conform, used that to make a CR2, using the actual figure (K2) as the donor and voila! It works! As frustrating as it was, it was sure a learning experience, and now I know what to do in the future.
