I haven't been able to make a decent drow either. Check out the image on my homepage under Members. It's is my first Poser character, but I don't like the iamge much. Drizzt would be an awesome character to make. Clothes are a problem, though. There is a Darth Maul character out there somewhere with good clothes to start with, but I couldn't get them to conform correctly. What about Guenhwyvar? Good luck!

I think the trans was a neat idea, but like eveyone has said, not to functional. I well include it in the download when finished. I am going to do more with the trim: I'll keep the "V" pattern, but add rivets and the suede texture (that actually looks much better than what is depicted). The chainmail was built and rendered in Bryce with just a bunch of offset toruses, but for some reason, it ended up looking like a chainlink fence! Back to work...

I think socks with a decent leather texture is good for soft moccasin-style boots. Just the thing an elf in a forest could use. I like her skirt, did you make it and is it available? Good job.

PhilC is right. This has happened to me several times, and I was able to narrow the fault down to one character file I downloaded that apparently had a faulty .rsr or cr2 file. I keep a backup of the Poser.exe and .rsr handy in case it happens again. You never know what you are downloading until its too late.

Bloodsong- I wouldn't even know how to do that. Actually, the clothes are just stock Poser clothes, so maybe assembling her after downloading would work, if anyone wants to go through all the trouble. I don't think she would be that much if zipped anyway. I've downloaded some huge characters that were compressed to about 1/4th normal.

That sounds like an interesting challenge. I've tried to join all kinds on animals with human models, but I don't care for the raptor too much. If your familiar with Dungeons & Dragons, I made a drider (spider with human torso), and a wemic (lion with torso). I've been looking for a freebee eagle to make a griffon. There is a creature in the game called a saurial that is a cross between dinosaur and human. If you need more info on them or pics, e-mail me at Ihawk29@aol.com. A lizard man sounds very cool.

Well, with 8 conforming figures and all those props. I guess I just got carried away with making her VERY detailed. I have no idea how much all the textures are going to be. I just started gathering them into one folder now. I think Poser now fills about half my hard drive....
