There's actually an entire forum at Poser Pros dedicated to non-P5 hair modelling, as I recall.

Have you checked to make sure there were no "stray nodes" with things plugged in? I don't know how this kind of thing would happen in rendering if there isn't a node causing it, but you might be able to find an answer at the website attached. Unless this is an extension of the "smooth polygons" glitch...? Try rendering without the "smooth polygons" option checked and see what happens.Thread: If I remeber correctly 3 uploads were the limit allowed to all members... | Forum: Community Center
Just because there are no "money issues" doesn't mean it makes financial sense to continue paying huge bandwidth fees. I didn't read the old thread, but when I see someone say something like "no money issues" it just means to me that they aren't losing money on bandwidth -- making enough of a profit to keep the site worth running is very different. I upload once a month these days, so the limit doesn't affect me, but I also agree with Matteo -- since the one per day limit has been entrenched, I've seen a great decline in the quickie POS art that used to bury the better quality stuff in under an hour.

It's about halfway down your homepage. Click the "My Homepage" option from the Member Option pulldown menu.

I haven't done very much with the hair room, but I BELIEVE you have to create a "hair group" first, meaning you have to tell Poser where the hair should be growing from before you style it.

What do you mean by "they never work right"? If you can tell us exactly what's going on, we may be able to help.

A better deal might be for the individual artists to try that -- offer DAZ well-placed "look what I just bought!" renders in exchange for store credit ;)

I'm not a Mac user, but I haven't had any problems using DAZ products in P5. I've actually found that the "heavy" meshes, like the Mil Dragon and the new unimesh figures actually work better for me in P5 than in P4.

I also like the new limit, as it cuts down on the crap. And let's be honest, there has been quite a lot of crap here in the past. I'm not trying to start another one of those "what is art" debates, but when someones spent days -- weeks, even -- perfecting a single image, it always ticked me off to see it buried within half an hour by a deluge Poser renders that consist of nothing more than a naked Posette in a stock pose with stock lighting. And, generally, with the "tit-morphs" dialed up to seven.

According to the product descriptions on the sale items (I'm looking at Freak and the Anna Marie Goddard clone right now) the sale ends on November 10th. Ah, here's the deal. Go to the DAZ main page, click on the Headlines section. Here's the first line of the article: "We've opened up the 50% off sale to EVERYONE and we've EXTENDED the sale until November 10th!"Thread: Lygher's Space Ships...yes...more..taking a poll | Forum: MarketPlace Showcase
