Thread: Poser 6 bumpmaps- help needed! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I feel your pain my friend, I cannot get bump mapping to work worth a crap with the p5 or p6 firefly engine. However, you can use the p4 render engine in either program and make sure the "ignore shader trees" option is checked, this will make the bumpmapping work, however, the p5 or p6 shader nodes for the other materials will not work. I do extensive bump mapping on my models, and I have to use p4 pro pack to get any good results. I wish that E-Frontiers would re-visit the bump mapping issues and fix them, and have a clean translation from p4 to p5 and p6. I've noticed that on some of my scenes, when I save a scene and come back into p5, the bump mapping will drop off of several off the elements in my scene. Very bad. I hope some people have some good answers. Davo

Thread: Anybody heard from Davo recently? | Forum: MarketPlace Showcase
Hi Guy!! Sorry bud, my attbi emails been defunct for a long time, the automatic forward that attbi used to provide is out of serverice now. My email is: beyondbent@comcast.net it's a sad history, first it was beyondbent@home.com, then beyondbent@attbi.com, now it's beyondbent@attbi.com. The cable internet provider has switched hands 3 times. A long while ago, Dark-toys.com went down one day early on in the month due to bandwidth limit being met. I never heard a word or peep from anybody and sales from that site weren't so great, so I just shut it down. Nobody ever emailed me about why, so I just save myself some money by not having the site anymore. Sales on dark-toys took a nose dive when I put all the products there on renderotica. Ultrascifihorror got it's plugged pulled by the hosting company after somebody decided to complain about some of the content on the site. With the current administrations push to clean up the internet by actually enforcing the laws it set in motion 10 years ago, web hosting companies are becoming more picky. Sooo... ultra is down for the time being until I get another site. The last 3 months have been very busy for me because of the huge amount of work the GVCS Ground Vehicle construction set as been. It's done, and it's now in Daz's hands. I'm putting a few new small packages together right now, including upgrading the LCV1 Cargo vessel with my standard texture scheme as well as upgrading the SFCS Equipment pack with the same texture schemes. I'm working on a back-pack construction set and a small secret project for daz. Busy busy busy. Cheers, Davo

JaneD, I had a look at the deciduous tree and think it looks great. I'd like to speak with you about a product package that I think you'd find interesting and I'm sure it could generate some good income for you. If you can email me at: beyondbent@comcast.net or david.sala@esmcivil.com I'd appreciate it. Cheers, davo
