What about the male version: Darren, or whatever he will be called? When might he be released? And what features might he possess?

I'd also need a faster computer. Still waiting for a new Mac Pro. Will the conference in June bring such an announcement? Nothing on the rumor sites. Only Tim Cook's "promise" of something "later this year," which could mean sometime in 2014. Should I believe him -- the guy who defended Apple's Tax Strategies before Congress?

Even right there, on the link you provided, someone is asking:
"Can i let the belly interact with a wall or a floor?
can i use softbody between figures?
would like to see some examples first, to see how well the softbody engine is implemented between:
figures & objects (like belly punch against a wall or floor)
figure vs figure (like a punch from figure a to figure b)"
So, someone is wondering about the same thing I am.

Quote - Well, per individual figures you can get some neat effects that you'd normally have to use morphs for. Bellys that jiggle as a character moves, breasts that react naturally. Those are things you can do for sure. I just haven't tested the two character thing myself so I don't want to make promises off of another person's comment you know? But like the video here shows, you can set up some really cool effects on a character:
Now imagine capes that have been given this effect. Or flags or drapes or even bed sheets. There's lots of room for exploration and testing the limits of what the feature can do. Time will tell about the collision between two figures (I'm sure someone will try that not long after the 21st) but with what we know for a fact can be done, it's an exciting time.
Well, this is going to be a biggie for me -- maybe a "make" or "break" as to whether or not I buy PoserPro2014. We all have things that we want. So, I'm trying to find out about this. I don't want to be a pest, but if soft body physics can work with a figure and a prop, how about this one:
put the two figures together; pose as you want.
duplicate one of the figures.
turn the duplicate into a prop. (save as a prop)
set soft body physics for the figure and the prop.
Would that work?

Quote - Hmm... It may not be 100%. So take the above with a grain of salt until we can really test it out. Even if it turns out this isn't quite accurate, the soft body dynamics are frickin' sweet.
Well, how are they "sweet," if you could say just a little? I'm really interested in what I stated above -- collision between two figures, such as two M4s.

My question is about soft body physics. I'd like to be able to set two characters so that if they embrace or grapple with each other, each figure will depress a bit where they touch. Is this possible in PoserPro2014?

Got all the parts in for my cousins and my machines so I get to start building here as soon as we get the apartment furnished
I'm very sorry. I know how painful it is to lose a pet. You have my regrets.

Hi, Paolo: I guess you read my discovery comment I posted in another thread. But, just let me repeat it. It's the same, I believe, as others mentioned. I had been trying to render a scene on which I used the EZSkin v2 shader. That's why I got all the error messages. If I just use an M4 with the basic texture, it renders fine. I also tried applying a texture I had bought for M4, but without using the EZSkin shader. Same thing: all kinds of error messages. So, I guess Reality3 has trouble finding the materials or textures, at least in some cases.

Well, he has been flooded with questions here:

so I think he has very little time left for other threads.
Thank you, callad.

Robert, please include me in the list of well-wishers. I'm sure it's been difficult, but it looks like good times are returning.

Quote - Happy Easter to all Reality users!
I won't be around until the beginning of May, folks. My father passed away unexpectedly earlier this week, therefore I'll be returning home for the funeral, etc.
I'm very sorry, Dr.Jellybean.

Callad: I don't know how to thank you enough! I haven't downloaded it yet, but I will soon. But, to think of what people have sold light sets for! And you're just giving this away. Oh, my! Somebody ought to nominate you for the Patron Saint of Charity.

Quote - Luxball 6 scene for Poser and DAZ Studio.
http://www.luxrender.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=5527&p=94030#p94030
I have converted the famous Luxball scene for use in Poser and DS. This is designed as a handy little test scene where you can do all the testing you want and be able to compare to other lux users. (incase you dont know)
Thank you very much. I just downloaded it.
