Thread: Trouble unzipping downloads to Poser Runtime folders | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hmm thought that was for if you wanted to add a specific figure or pose to your library, but to have the program access a differet location for all the runtime folders? Thanks again!

Hmm looking for what I am seeing on the screenshot you sent. I have Poser 7 not 8, so I hope I would have the same capability in the one I have....

I am still perplexed by the fact that with my dinosaur Windows XP I had absolutely no problem with this, and now with Win 7 I just can't. Doesn't seem right.

I admit I am a neophyte, how do I "point" the runtime folder to Poser if it in another location?

Thanks guys,
I had tried initially disabling Microsoft security but the same damn error message kept popping up. Bill, what is that about keeping your files outside of Program folders? Maybe I am just not familiar enough with the security system--I turned off Windows firewall and that didn't seem to make a difference. Any other recommended tinkering?

I am also a bit confused about some of the longer hair types that come with Poser 7--the kozaburo hairs. When I apply them, there is no option on the parameters dial to raise them or move them x y or z, like there is for the shorter hairs. There are plenty of options for scaling, etc, but since they usually land in the middle of the neck when I first apply them, I can't figure out how to lift them on the y axis to get them correctly on the skull.

Thanks,
I have downloaded a number of freebies (I have already spent enough money this season on Poser), but when I place then in runtime, I end up finding them in other places other than "Hair". They are usually in Pose or Props. When I click on Props hairs they don't do anything--although some are recolors of buyable hairs, others theoretically were downloaded with the mesh.
Regarding the other question, I will follow your advice about parenting. I do have a couple of "conform" hairs, so I will also follow there.
Thanks!

Hmm, still doesn't work. Just don't get it. Theoretically, if I want to use the "enlarge nose" morph, for example, I would click on it, then click on the head of the figure, scroll down the list of morphs, and there would be an option for a slider in the Parameters Dial?
TY again

Hi,
Thanks for your advice. I did load Victoria, and then went down the list of morphs and double clicked the ones I wanted to use. I was wanting to make changes to the face, but when I click on the face I get the default set of expressions, but nothing in the morphs ++ package. Am a bit confused. For, example, to make a nose larger or smaller, or the eyes larger or smaller, there is nothing. The list is: "mouth side to side", "lips pucker", "mouth smile", etc. I believe those are part of the standard facial expression morphs that came with Vic, but not part of the larger ++ package.
Thanks!
