I prefer the tilted one, only because the sky and tree frame and color the photo. If the 2nd one had the same sky and tree element I would prefer it.

Thanks! I was happy with this one. I went out to try and capture some shots of wood ducks, but got this instead.

Thread: Raw Shooter problem...do you use this software? Can only convert one at a time. | Forum: Photography
Onslow - I also tend to look at each image, unless I am shooting a tournament or event where I have to have the photos the next night. Just don't have time to look at 250-300 photos. So I will process them in groups, shots that are similar I will use the process that 3DGuy mention and SHIFT or CTRL click similar images, and batch process those.

Ok here is how I use it. I bounce back and forth between RSE and Photoshop. I find RSE easier to convert a lot of files quickly. To batch convert, select the first image and choose your settings to convert. Then in the thumbnail view select all the images you want to apply these settings to. (CTRL + A will select all). Now, on the right hand side make sure the Correct tab is selected. Notice the row of icons. The first is a little file folder. Click on that and a pop up will appear asking what image corrections to apply, select all and click OK. Now on the main tool bar click the icon that looks like two gears with a green +. This will Batch convert any thumbnails you have selected. Doug - On the Batch Convert tab there is a button "Naming and output location" there you can setup how the converter saves your converted images. So you can convert and leave your originals along. If you are converting just one image, still press the Batch Convert button. The conversion will occur in the background, while you work on the next image. I find the workflow to be very fast. You can also setup when you convert an image it will open in Photoshop or any other image editor, so you can further tweak it.

Enjoyed your photos. There is a yearly balloon festival about 120 miles from my house I keep saying I am going to shoot, but never have.
