Thank you Michael,
The wardword wizard looks like it might be more of what I am looking for. I has a whole host of characters that it would support.
Thread: What do YOU want in character packages | Forum: The MarketPlace Wishing Well
oh, oh, oh, oh...me, me, me, me.
I had another idea...more characters of other races for both V3 and M3
I would also like to see more African americans, Spanish, some more indians (such as aztecs, incans, etc), arabic characters.
I would also like to see more morphs where you could convert a Victoria 3 character from an adult to a pre-teen (12ish) to someone who just turned 21 (especially in the face)
As for M3 characters - more rugged charaacters. The M3 characters I have all look like late teens to early 20s...kind of limited.

I would like to thank DM for including the freebie for those taking the survey.
I would also like to take the time to thank the renderosity team for asking their customers what they would like to see. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that they use the results for "planning".

Rebel is doing something I think all good vendors should do every now and again "ask the customer what THEY would like", and I for one appreciate it. Thank you!!
SO, I want it ALL!!!! (j/k)
Seriously though...
I would like a character where you can change the eye lash color, brow colors, pubic hair colors. For example, If I was creating a red head, I would like to have the ability to change the pubic hair to match the colorof the head of hair.
I don't know if this could even be done, but I would also like more characters to have a "wet" overlay, so it looks like someone got out of the pool, shower, etc.
More M3 Characters??? There's a plethora(sp?) of V3 characters, but not a whole heck of a lot of M3

Thread: DAZ Studio to Poser 5 Conversion | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Well,
Here are my two cents worth:
The pros of Daz Stuido, in my opinon,:
1. I use Daz when I want to create a quick character quickly without too much effort, I tend to use DAZ.
This may sound sadistic to some, but I think Daz's controls is more user friendly. I can create long hallways and zoom in to make sure sections, or corners line up properly.
Forme, Daz Studio loads up faster.
The learning curve is less steep. So, if you are JUST getting into graphics, this is a decent application.
The Pros of Poser 5, again in my opinon:
I can customize characters, such as give someone a blue eye and a brown eye.
I can use the material rooms to change textures on virtually anything I want/
After using the material room, I can save my object as a new item, so I do not have to re-create it over and over
I think the rendering is a LOT more realistic.
Those are just SOME of the high points of each. However, as someone stated, there are pros and cons to each. Each person has to decide what they "NEED" and what they are willing to put up with.

I have to admit, I never thought one of my topics would get this much response  (not tooting my own horn TOO much).
However, I think this is great, because people like me DO like to read what others have to say (pros and cons) about various graphic applications. This allows a neophyte (which I still am), to learn what some of the various limitations within each package are. They can then decide what they can and can't live without.
Thanks everyone!!

Thank you everyone!
One of the reason I kept Daz for as long as I have is the size of the files of something I created. I was okay with a 3MB file, but I DID lose quality with it.
However, after using Poser 5 and the materials section, I do like Poser more. The only draw back I found with Poser is that the files for a character/object are a lot larger than I would prefer.
But after hearing all of your responses, it's time to dump Daz Studio (fortunately, I have all my libraries in Poser)
Guess that means it's time to buy a new computer with TONS of space :thumbupboth:
