A suggestion box for the Renderosity site, how awesome is that :biggrin:

I don't know if these are even possible, as they may be too resource intensive, but I thought I would toss themout there,

1. Let's say I buy some clothes (ex Ordinary Lingerie), I think it would be cool if something could be done so that all the texture packs for that particular clothing item would show up as options (sort of like here are the texture sets that are available for your item). This would certainly save the word search method...

2. Let's  say I purchase items from a particular merchant over and over, it would be cool if I could get announcements when they list a new item for sale(this could be done as a check box  under "my profile).

And #2... good news: you can have that already!
You have to add a vendor to your favorite vendors. Currently you can do that only by adding them in your homepage.
Which brings up a suggestion I was going to make (I made it some time ago)... we used to have a link inside a vendor's product to add that vendor to ones favorite vendors. It would be great if we could have that back, AND the possibility to add a vendor to favorite's in one vendor's store.

Yes as Barb says if you add the vender to your favorite vender list you will get ebots when they have a sale or upload a new product.

So Renderosity owns Poser, right?    OK, good.  Gotcha there.

Why are most of the things sold here are DS3d only?    I can see doing a G9 clothing set as Studio only, since that fig is proprietary to Daz Studio.   But Cars?  Sets?   Props?    Why do you allow the sales of those when they don't even apply to the platform that you OWN?   That's downright silly!    At least require an importable OBJ  to be included or something to maximize cross-selling if for no other reason.   It doesn't seem as though you're taking your own property very seriously.    Everyone is aware of DAZ and Poser's little market-share war over the years, and who the clear winner is based on the quality of the renders produced by each.   And now AI is coming along to raid the game, producing even better images, so  DAZ and Poser are really going to have to get their acts together to compete.   I think they probably can, but there's gonna have to be a truce called here.   Be like Adobe, who will accommodate just about any format as needed, or at the bare minimum require some sort of cross-compatibility from the products you offer on your own site.
