Thread: Brand new 3D mag gives away FULL version of BRYCE 3D | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
its a great offer for Brycers..it will expand Bryce's exposure...but I have some reservations as to the validity of the mag in claiming to be "experts". for instance, the site for the mag has a "questions" area..and it discusses Bryce in one of those... there is a major oversight in this discussion and it's supposed to be by an "expert". I personally have never heard of this "expert". I don't claim to know everyone who knows Bryce, but this oversight is one that "the least kid on the place" knows..so an "expert" would definitely know it. I asked in the Bryce Forum and no one has answered the "fo-pah" at the mag site..surprised me btw, but many may think Im attacking the mag..not so...just saying that a mag that says "we are experts" does not constitute such. anyhow, I'm subscribing because I want a mag like this...I just hope they get their facts straight before they release any more "expert" tutorials on Bryce (or any program) BT

want a friendly criticism? needs a "loading" feature of course no-one says that a "loading" feature has to say "loading" it could just be the "e" in still but its nice and a really good first shot far better than my first was ;) BT

dontcha hate it when someone says "Gawd, this renader took forever...2 hours" lol yep..how about "can I speed the animation render..it takes 20 minutes to render a ten second clip" I dont do volumetrics that much (except for rain) because they're just too slow or I use too many of them. Once I tried a volumetric render for one of the babylon5 scenes at my site...I was going on vacation, so I thought itd be done (or way along) when I got back... anyhow, I was gone 3 days... when I came back and turned on the computer...IT HADNT FINISHED THE FIRST PASS! I mean the very FIRST pass (in three days) lol ;) needless to say...there wont be a volumetric render of that scene later BT

thanx still learning poser and bryce I wish I'd thought of a slightly different color on that outside wall before I rendered this (took 5 days) perhaps in the next view I will try that? later BT
