Just playing with C7.  This version has a lot of hair problems...one being, I can not comb the hair (at all).

and it keeps resetting the hair guides instead of leaving them where they were when I drape the hair...so this was a hard image to make with all the hair on the rat and the knight.  Still, it was a lot of fun and I learned a lot about this version.

Oh, no! The monsters have cast a curse of bad hair on the brave defenders!
That's a dramatic image you've made.
On the hair: I am disappointed, because I heard it was supposed to be better in this version. I haven't played with it yet myself, still working on scenes with obj hair.
Congrats on the heroic render.

lol
actually one of the reasons I made this was because this was one of the few characters I could think of where 'bad hair" would be a plus (since I cant comb it).  Bowl hair cuts just seemed to fit the bill.

tnx

Nice render Brycetech :) Sorry to hear you are having hair problems, but it is probably your setup causing the problem, not C7. The hair does work much better in C7 and simulations are much more accurate than C6.  A couple of questions/sugguestions -

Are you using guide hairs? Also, when in the brush tool, make sure your 'active hair point selector' is turned all the way up to brush the hair from the ends, if it's turned down, the points are too close to the head for styling.

Here is a render of hair I made in C7 :)

update
I found the issue
its a 'Zoom' issue that I dont have with c6.  I now have to select the camera...set it position to some side view and then I can comb hair normally.

hmmm
interesting, but problem solved

So is it like a 'Hair Camera' or something?

I would rather be Politically Incorrect,
Then have Politically Correct-Incorrectness!!!

Hi
No its just the regular camera, but where poser things come in so small you have to get close to the model to do anything to it.  The camera is too far away (unless its a side camera).

Seems to me that the camera should automatically be a relative distance from a model when you enter the room, but...tis not.

Anyhow, at least the problem isn't un-recoverable.
