Since the Pose2Lux.com site is down is there anywhere to learn more about this great program. I have read the Draft docs but I am still muddeling through how Lux handles the conversion for the different items in the poser material settings.
Thanks for the work you two have done I am getting some excelent renders that I could only wish for from Poser!

Clip and paste to a V1 map and alter as needed, then run it through UTC for a V2 or V3 texture map conversion.

I asked for a p4 to Mil UTC plugin and Dark Whisper told me there wasn't enough interest to make worth the time it required to make. Get enough people interested you might get one done. I convert from p4 to the mil 1 characters then run it through UTC for mil 2&3 characters. A bit of work but doable.

Well a 7200x4800 at 200dpi rendered to disk took about 16hrs to complete on an Athalon 64 3000 with 1 gig memory.

Sounds like I will be rendering for quite some time at 200ppi! I thought that render to disk would be best, thanks for verifying that. Is there a way to render to disk in the background? So what should the dpi be set at when rendering to disk for a 300ppi print or do I leave it at the default 72dpi?

Thanks, now I can see what I am doing. So what should the setting be for a 24"x36" printout on a 720dpi printer then? Does changing the page setup DPI effect the final output?

You need to scale up Aiko then adjust the scale of the neck to near the size of V3's where they connect at the base of the neck. Also adjust the z axis.

They make a female freak character. I will try to make the V3 to Female Freak using this method next.

Ok, did as you said and it works great. Thanks. Havn't tried any odd poses to see if there is any adverse effects there yet. Took some time to do, is there a script that could do the same thing in the way of saving object then injecting morph?

If you havn't installed this utility, do so now. It is worth the effort if just for the ease it offers for setting up textures. Why he didn't put it up for sell is beyond me?? This is one great program!

Where are the support files located. I didn't find a link in the tutorial. I probably just don't know where to look.

The only way I know of is to load The Freak obj in and scale everything till they overlay the M3 obj in poser then save The Freak obj out as a new obj file then load it in as the morph for the M3 obj and save out as a prop. I just got Morph Master Pro and will let you know how it works for changing up the body suit to fit The Freak.
