I can't get the PP Plug-in for C4D to work at all on 64 bit C4D!

I've installed PoserFusion into C4D, post SR1. I can see PoserFusion in the Plugins folder with Windows explorer, yet when I open C4D 10.5, it's not in the plugins menu! So I can't help, I'm afraid.

The thread started as a plea for a little honesty - whilst I dont believe the gallery sections are as good as they might be, it iritates me when people openly write 'No postwork' and 'all done in poser' when the pics are clearly a composite of Poser and photographic material.

On a serious note, if you scour the world looking for politicians with leadership skills, credibility and sound moral judgement and behaviour, you end up with an extremely short list. In fact, right now, I struggle to think of anyone, in any country. And that's very sad, and very scary.

It depends upon so many thaings, not least of which is the texture you are using!
A few more details will help us to understand your question better. For instance:
What are the settings for your spots? How many spots in the scene? What do the current results look like?
What kind of reflection are you looking for ie on glass, in a mirror, on water etc
What type of glow are you looking for ie a small glowing sphere or a whole character glowing?

I fully agree with bopperthijs; I had to experiment with several textures before finding one that reacted as well as the above. when I get my website back (server company had a fire!), I will devote a whole section to VSS and am thinking of listing the textures that work particularly well.

ok. bear with me here, as I recall, these were the adjustments made:
IBL intensity was reduced to 35%, x rotate 6 deg, y rotate 12 deg, z rotate 1deg, scale 55%
main light intensity set at 35%, x rot -27 deg, y rot 5 deg, z rot -1
other light intensity set at 30%, x rot -14 deg, y rot 14 deg, z rot -1
In the Materials Room, simple color node was set to a pale blue
Specular Map Texture Strength was set to 0.7
In photoshop, the only postwork was Image/Adjustments/Auto Levels
Oh, and the texture was Elsa Wylde from MPlace here
