I've had similar problems before on occasion, and they always get sorted out. We should probably wait until office hours ( it's not 7am there yet ) before we can expect any response.
Thread: Looking for people to train | Forum: DAZ|Studio
I am interested to learn more.
An example of my work is here:- https://www.sharecg.com/v/29813/gallery/11/Poser/Hansom-Cab-and-harness although that is from nine years ago. I use DS mostly, but I have several modelling programs, and Photoshop.
Thread: Victoria 7 | Forum: DAZ|Studio
I have read the interview and agree it definitely has some 'spin'. For instance while it discusses the relationship between DAZ and POSER ( and it's various owners) it makes no reference to the huge fallout between DAZ and Curious labs over the Poser 5 EULA ( June/July 2002 ) As I recall this held back DAZ figure development to Poser 4 level features for a long time. More details here...http://www.cocs.com/poser/poser5mess.htm.

I wouldn't assume the Zbrush users all stay in their forum, or that the DS users all stay in the DS forum. The mixture you are looking for is already here around us, or at least those who want to mix know where to come. The poor Poser users users don't have the luxury of a nice quiet forum at Renderosity, where they can choose to stay and avoid the rest.
For better or worse the Poser forum is the hub of Renderosity, or at least that is the way it seems to me after 15 years or so. Maybe it would have been better way back then to have called this the general forum, and to have had a subforum that was Poser specific, but that's not what we got.
Willow, and Jack, and all the others that have come and gone, some sadly passed on. There is a lot of history here. It's kind of sad to see it getting torn up so a few folks can watch a fight or two.

My own view is that allowing more heated debate would be damaging. There used to be a subforum here, I think it was "Complaint and Debate". The idea, if I recall correctly, was that this area was less moderated and people could let off steam in there., so there was a lot of heated debate.
Unfortunately, people being what they are, the battle lines drawn up in there then affected how people interacted with each other across the rest of Renderosity. In addition some people like an audience, so they still kicked off arguments in the more popular subforums, where the biggest audience was.

It is interesting to compare this forum to another which I visit, rmweb. That forum is about model railways, but there are a lot of similarities. Both sites cater for hobbyists and the membership have diverse interests around the central theme. Some members are happy to buy and use 'off the shelf' items, others prefer to make things for themselves. Sometimes there are arguments, and sometimes members pack up and leave over some percieved injustice, but generally rmweb members get along.
A big difference is that rmweb members pretty much all respect the tongue in cheek "Rule 1", which is "It's my trainset, I'll run what I like", a similar phrase for here would be "It's my render, I'll use what I like". The hunt for the perfect figure is futile. It's good that there is a choice. Everyone should feel free to use whichever they choose, and there is no reason to attack vendors or users who choose differently.

Thread: Does DAZ Studio Have a Morph Brush Equivalent? | Forum: DAZ|Studio
Hi,
Sorry I am not aware of any instructions or tutorials for MTMirror. It is several years since I remember using it, probaby back in the Victoria 3 era. I do recall it only worked on one bodypart at a time .

You could try MTMirror. It is a free tool available at:-
http:/www.eurus.dti.ne.jp/~masasi/DOWNLOAD/other/
It is years since I have used it but it should be able to mirror an existing morph target across a figure. So far as I know it would only mirror one bodypart at a time, but hopefully you can do what you need.
Thread: What should a promo render look like? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Just some thoughts...
The floor shadows cast by the girl are very weak compared to the brightness off the light coming from the left and the shadow that the wall is casting on the floor, so the figure looks like it's floating off the floor.
If you are selling the outfit, then it shouldn't be hidden in shadow. As it is you are highlighting the legs. If you were selling the pose then it would work as you have it.
The black material is hiding the shape of the top. I think it work better with a lighter colour.
