Horses have round pupils. Goats and sheep have oblong horizontal pupils. Believe me. I just went out and looked into my horse's eyes to be sure.

A number of people have tried or are trying to do a mane morph but I still find that the best solution is to do the mane post render. But if you want to try a mane morph the best one I've found is at http://members.xoom.com/jackielwn/

I'll probably be making some facial morphs for my mer-horse and they should work on the standard Poser horse as well. What exactly are you looking for? I'm planning to do nostril flares and ears flattenned to start with. Also Bloodsong as done a number of horse facial morphs and they can be found at Poserworld.

Yes, it definitely looks like a "cooler" rather than a blanket. All my horses' blankets stop at the withers and don't cover the neck but the "coolers" look look very much like that.

I'll take the spherical head. I'm willing to experiment to get the colors where I want them and I'd prefer not to have to deal with stretched pixels. BTW, thanks! Now I can finish my new lion texture.

I tried doing what Scott suggest back whne I was working on my horse tail transmap. I never could get it to work properly. sigh
