Thank you! :)This picture gave me an idea for an animated short. I do not know how much time'll take to finish it, but I'll try anyway (how about years...?).
I started animating the ring of fire. I think it looks good, using only the Carrara shaders and the SparrowHawke3D's Edge Fallof plugin to create the animated flames.
Best regards!

Thank you, Marcelo. :)
Another render, with more realistic eyes.
Modestly, he's really cute, I like him! XD
Cheers!

Thanks, Mark. The expressions are morph targets only. I'll create more facial expressions later, put some fangs and etc... Also need some work at the rigging, adjust some points here and there. :)
Quote - Hey, wait a minute. You are not going to have third party ask you to replace the legs with wheels and make the eyes glow, are you?
LOL! Good Lord, no! No one will touch my model this time! This puppy was created for fun. I'm just testing a CP8. ;)

It's my favorite Carrara Forum, since RDS time. It's a great pleasure trade some ideas with you, guys. ;)

Thanks, Mark and UVDan. :)
Quote - Ahhh, the crime of turning over perfectly good work to a third party...
Indeed, Mark. This client had some strange ideas. It was a huge struggle to keep the wheel instead legs at the robot. My argument was the wheel is more easy to animate. Hopefully, they bought the idea. ;)

Thank you all for the nice comments. :)Well, the character is animated now. In Maya... ;)
I did some changes at the eyes, the client chose more human eyes, so the black eyeball is gone. The studio where the character was animated has added to much glow in his eyes and voice of the actor is horrible...
He's a mascot for a website created to help people with Financial Planning. I know, it's a boring thing, but it was created in Carrara, and that's what matters. :D
Thank for everything!

Thanks again, folks! I appreciated your comments, ominousplay! :)
Marcelo, I really stinks as animator! :( Outra coisa: como eu mando imagens para o CarraraCafe.com? Não acho a galeria no site!
Another render. For benney, to cuddle the robot. ;)
I add some Glare filter at this one.
Thank you. I wish everyone a great week!
Bye!

Thank you for the feedback, guys. Mark, benney and Marcelo.
Following Mark's tips I put some datails at the ears and shading at the wheel. It looks better:
Thank you for the feedback!

Thread: Need Rigging for Toon Woodpecker | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Just for your information, I've changed the restrictions of the Toon Woodpecker. Now it's a unrestricted use model.
Quote - How hard would it be to make me a cartoon rooster? I could make all the rest myself to complete my Bionic Rooster, but my attempts to make a rooster was less than acceptable to me.
In fact modeling a toon character it's not so hard in Carrara. The worst part is the UV mapping.

Hi, folks!
I was on vacations (10 days without touching a computer, THANKS GOD I'm back!!! LOL).
I just read the Nyghtwolf's and Acadia's messages. Good job for the Poser rigging! I like it! And I have more Toon models for you, stay tooned, or tuned...
BTW, Happy New Year! ;)

Thread: Weekend Project Failure (Aura Problems) | Forum: Carrara
A lot of good things changed with C5. I remember the Aura allways works fine (even in RDS), but the problem started in Carrara 5 . Another nice feature changed / removed from C4 to C5 was the bone system. Like Poser, C4 has the "Restore element" or "Restore selected bone" parameter (I don't remeber the real name...). You could select the bone of the attached figure and restore only that element to zero position. Now you must select the model to restore all the skeleton. It's so stupid! Sometimes I need to restore only a hand or a finger, it's very usefull on animations, and now I can't...
