Joe, I might be doing something wrong on the layers...here is what I did:
Original sepia photo is background layer...
I duplicate that and called the new layer color
Used magic wand to select the necklace strap and set feathers to .5
I filled the selection with red.
Set this COLOR layer to Difference which seems to make the picture all black instead of the necklace strap.
I duplicated the color layer again, put it on top, named it color2 and set it to multiply but I still ahve a black picture with the red strap.
what am I missing?

awesome! I think I had the feathers set wrong and im not sure if I was on multiply...I will try again with your suggestions on the hires verson....thank you ill keep ya posted on how I did :)

Joe, she wanted the silver necklace left as is and just wants the chain of the necklace (the black strings) to be red....

Well I ended up getting the 17-40 and a Tamarac 28-75...the latter for doing some portraits. I of course will have to skip on the 500mm telephoto for a few years.
I will be test driving them this weekend. Look for a portrait of my daughter, and who knows what else I will come up with on the wide angle.
Oh the Tamaron is also a macro, a wide angle macro...most cool..about $300

I have the Canon Rebel XTi which is the same as the 400D in Europe. So the Sigma lens is better than a Canon Lens?

I have that stock lens, the one I mentioned above...so I wanted something a bit wider for those specialist wide angle shots... I dont want the wide angle for portraits...I do want a nice portrait lens as well. I am thinking of a fixed 35mm and a fixed 100mm

They did not give a reason, just referred me to a faq. The only thing I can think of is like someone said, noise, but I use the equipment they refer to, and I didnt have any postwork taht I remember on the shots.. so who knows... I think I would rather just have my own site, see if I can make it known and just sell when someone is compelled to buy.

I got word back from the site I tried...Stockxpert.com that my work did not meet their standards. I uploaded some of my highest rated pics from this site. Not sure what they want but if they didnt like it then ***k em heheh
I do have my own site but am not sure how to get it known. I made it myself and could easily add the "add to cart" feature, but who would even find it?

I am timid to send my photos to those sites...some seem to have a group of admins that determine if they meet their standards. I think if I was rejected, I could plumate into a deep depression heheh
