it's not the actual bringing of poser figures into lightwave that have me befuddled...but the actual uv mapping of vicky and michael...which makes using certain surfacing tools, such as sasquatch, in lightwave almost impossible...

well, when I export as obj from poser, the uv map that shows up in lightwave is the one shown in my last post...although I don't know why...

I tried fyrene's 2d feathers which are .psd files and for some unknown reason, I can't open them in photoshop. Isn't a .psd file a native photoshop format?

the 'easter egg' that you speak of is found by holding down the 'alt' key when clicking on the 'create tree' icon in the tool bar. This opens up a 'load' dialog with a list of prebuilt trees. :)

Phil, thanks for the tip, but I want the magical 'effects' to actually cast light and shadow...I'm trying to achieve a realistic effect in poser alone...no post work...

well, I've tried that...and everytime I create a light, it comes up as a spot and then when I go to it's properties and change it to an omni light, I loose it in the scene...heh..and even if I DO find it, it doesn't seem to cast any light, even with the intensity turned ALL the way up.. :(

What did you use for the lipsynching? Mimic? If so, how did you seperate the vocal track from the rest of the wav? I've been messing around with Mimic but everytime I try to do something like you did, which is a riot, Vicky's lips end up moving to EVERYTHING, not just the lyrics! :(
