OK, I've finally got Poser 7 uninstalled and then reinstalled to c:/Poser7. Along the way I managed to lose my P7 Runtime with a lot of purchased material (stupid mistake) but thank God I had backed it up to an external HD and was able to recover it all.
I will let you know if I continue to have any problems.
My thanks to all of you who have offered advice.

johnfields, Try this....disable any firewall and antivirus you have before you reinstall. You can turn them back on after you finish. I've seen a number of programs (especially large complex ones like Poser) have similar problems because the virus software didn't like something that was being loaded. Couldn't hurt.... Scarab

Enlarge the eyes (yes there is a dial for that), until the eyeballs are the same size as an adults. Our eyeballs are the same size from birth to death (or so I'm told). Shorten the nose and jaw considerably Scarab
