Thank you both. It did not appear to be the vertices he was selecting and that threw me off, but I'm back on track now.

The only way I've found to do that so far is in Photoshop with The Smudge tool. Not very helpful advice as far as Poser goes, but thought I'd put it out there:)

Ok, I'm lost again. I switched to Blender from Silo 3D, where all I had to do was export the obj file from Silo and import to Poser. I didn't need any special software or addons to make the transfer. If I import something like a t-shirt or tunic that doesn't require a constrain group it works fine. I just can't make separate vertex groups that Poser recognizes.

I guess I'm doing something wrong in setting the poly group. (I'm trying to make the break from Silo 3D, which I found much more straight forward.) Groups are made in the Object Data Properties panel, yes?

(Too quick on the Enter key)
How do you define (in Blender) a separate area that Poser can recognize as a Constrain group in the cloth room?

That sounds like the closest possibility so far. One thing I did find is that the hierarchy looks different in the export window than the parenting window, and re-parenting the hair groups is not fixing it. It's almost 3 a.m. here, so I'm off tonight. Try again tomorrow. Thank you!

I changed the texture to one from Biscuits that worked well on an M4 figure, and got the very same result. I have seen it suggested to turn off Branched Path Tracing, but only made it grainy.

Yeah, I've changed them all. Even tried other textures, then changed them back. I am so frustrated.
