Thread: Pascal Pinon | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Well, I don't have any inside info, but Pascal Pinon is one of the directors of Kaena. BTW, Kaena is available on DVD (with Kirsten Dunst doing the voice of Kaena in the English version). The DVD has a "making of" featurette which shows Pascal Pinon working on storyboards. Regards- Lemurtek
Thread: New Bloodsong Goodies: Eyes, Spines, Stuff | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Lemur hears a familiar "heyas", pokes his head out of the lab (nervously checks to see if Bloodsong is still carrying that mini-gun) and then cheers! Woot, good to see the "heyas" again! Thanks for the goodies! Bloodsong rocks! Regards- Lemurtek

Hey- If you'd like to try John Stallings's Cr2Editor version 1.51 is still available at the old PoserTECH yahoo group. You'll need a Yahoo ID, but it's free to sign up. The executable and a PDF help file are in the files section. Regards- LemurtekThread: June Renderosity Freebie | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hello all, >Sorry for the confusion around this. Can everyone please redownload the file from next weeks >newsletter as it is being updated right now to address technical issues as well as this >license issue. >Once again, sorry for any inconvenience this has caused. >As it stands now, the creators wishes are what we are abiding by in this instance. >It cannot be used in commercial renders. >Thanks! >Deb Thanks for clearing that up. Sadly, since I can't use this item with the restrictions as such, I'll just delete it rather than redownloading it. Before I get blasted for spitting on the generosity of free stuff creators, I'm not, really, I'm not! This piece looks like an excellent set, and, having done a few freebies (very humble freebies comepared to this one :) I can well imagine the effort that went into it. I fully appreciate the authors right to distribute and license a product as they see fit, after all it their product, their blood, sweat and tears that went into the making of it. But to me, restrictions such as the ones on this product, whether free product or otherwise, beg the question of "whose art is it anyway." It is rather like having a lein on your car. You can drive around in it, but really, the bank owns it This just isn't acceptable to me, not for an image or anim that may spend hours, days or even weeks working on. I'm certainly happy to give credit for items I use, but in the end, If I can't control what happens to my own art, and if I can't even really say it's my art, it's not worth making. In any event, thanks again for the clarification. Perhaps in the future you might add a notice in the newsletter, on whether commercial use is allowed, as you do in free stuff. This might even save Rendo a few coins in bandwidth cost. Regards- Lemurtek

OK, from the 'Pretty Nights - ReadMe.txt' file it says "The product cannot be used for commercial uses." But, from the "End User Licence.txt" file in the same archive, it says "The end user may use the materials in any personal projects or commercial projects, as long as the Artist 's work is protected from extraction and none of the items above have been violated." Soo, uhhh, which the heck is it. Somebody wanna clear that up? Regards- Lemurtek
Thread: Making Fantasy Armor for V3 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks for the link, looks like good stuff. However, I generally paint or scan my own textures, even if they're crap, I know they're my crap! :) That's probably what I'll do for the knees, and maybe the elbows too. Thanks for the comments! Regards- Lemurtek
