You probably won't like this but I gotta tell you that I think you should remove the swan entirely. It's the brightest area in the entire picture and placed in one of the darkest areas it really draws the eye away from the main focus of the image. Other then that the picture is very well done. Just my two cents ...

You might want to check these magazines out for source material. Also if you have Netflix, look for a movie called "Kamikaze Girls". Probably not a lot of source material here but an interesting movie regardless.Thread: WOE - 04/27/2007 | Forum: Photography

If you're on CS2, there is the Vanishing Point tool in Filters that will do what you want without having to draw the extra lines. The Help section has a detailed explanation of how to use it.

I got one of these this morning too. I didn't even open it since it looked like the Coca-Cola scam that went around a few weeks ago.

Thread: Vue 6 Final Update | Forum: Vue
@estherau - I'm using Vue6ESP-Final on a dual G5 with 10.3.9 and have a similar problem importing some objects if I use P7. If I use P6, Poser scenes import fine with all objects intact. On the plus side this version of Vue6 seems much better at finding textures then the pre-release version. On that version Vue6 would ask the location of just about every texture in a Poser scene. Two steps forward, one step back ... BTW, I installed the P7 SR1 and have had no problems at all with the update.

Thanks for the info! I'm wonder though if I'm going to have to get the Ecosystems module. I can't seen to get the terrain cut-and-pasted into PS CS2. Would that be a function of the Ecosystems module?

I've also tried importing some .obj files from both WIngs3D and Silo and have had no problems. This is in the OS X version of P7.

@efstarlet - Thank you! Having the UI reset itself every time P7 started was driving me nuts. Works good now.

It really depends on how you're going to use PS. Most of what I use it for is compositing so if you're interested in that the areas I'd suggest would be: 1) Layers & Blending Modes for Layers 2) Selection Tools 3) Channels Probably 90% of what I do in PS is covered by these three topics and most good PS tutorial sites will have lots of info on how to use the tools.
