thanks for the input everyone. its aprecated.  not sure where i'll be headed exactly but I'd like to find my own little genre to fall into again, making a specific chain of products.  I have a older copy of vue around here somewhere, played with it a little but never really got into it.  Been mostly using Cinema 4D and 3D Studio Max 8.0 this past year,  Doing alot of super low poly modeling (500-1.5k polys) along with some low poly ones as well. 

Its time for a change though, need something new to help spark up my creative side again, its been abit dry lately and honestly been driving me nuts as well lol ;).  Anyhow thanks for the input :)

looks good :) looks like your doing the same thing as me, merging the two figures? works out better that way for the people so they dont have to use two seprate models. at least ours are two different styles of spider bodies :)

texture texture texture!!!!! gotta have texture!!! texture can make or break a model. Doesn't matter how good the model is, if the texture is bad it can detour the customer from buying it. Thats accually a pretty cool idea, Noticed alot of people have large albums on here and that could save them alot of troubles being able to get there album burned. We had a local guy here who's hard drive crashed on him (motor went out) and he lost over 90gigs of photos. Talk about a real loss. Being able to have your album burned at rosity not only gives rosity another venue for making a little money but gives individuals who have lost stuff because of a crash a chance to rescue some of them. Rosity already has it setup so that you can do a purchase history burn, so why not just do the same for the photo albums? I know some purchase histories take more then one cd (like mine heh) so you could just handle it the same way there too when it requires 2 or more cd's to burn it. Some of the older pictures in my gallery I don't even think I still have a copy of. Wonderful idea there Tim, I hope rosity takes root with it :D

I was caught in a situation like that once because of a typo, believe me, 26 dollars is a heck of alot better then a couple hundred. The problem is the merchant has no real control over it, this i found out too. If its a debit card it really hurts some. like Deb said, its two steps, 1) authorizing, 2) finnalizing transaction. If you contact the card holder about it they tell you 3-15 days normally for a transaction to clear. However they then tell you that you must contact the merchant to clear the holding if you want the funds 'released' earlier. Ok, I bit, contacted the merchant and talked with them about it, they were most helpful and did do exactly what the card company said to do. I was happy thought, cool, now i can get it done, went to reprocess with the right info and got a 'insufficate funds'. seems even if the business clears the transaction theres another 2-7 days before the funds are returned, this time is controlled by the card company, not the company your making the purchase with. it sucks to not have a credit card, but it sucks even more to have a credit card and be a typo victom.

if its a first time purchase you have to verify your info with renderosity store staff, when you contact them be sure to include the order number (found on your purchase page). you can contact them via Store@Renderosity.com hope this helps
