It seems you are running Poser 10 and not "Poser 2014 Pro" after flash has been taken down the Library can not be enabled in Poser 10 only in Poser 10 Pro. If you are in possession of Poser 2014 Pro then do as fallow to enable the external Library in your Settings Poser 10 does not support that option.

guess it will be the best solution for the future to just put the whole Poser Installation folder sub folder and files as write protected ( Read Only ) this way it can't be manipulated through a external port. A simple add blocker and for the ones who placed there own startup splash they can keep it :) and other stuff !

So the scandal release was actually " BabyBabe V4/A4/G4/Elite "

Remember the scandal " diapers for V4 " man that sure was a story if I recall it first was released here then pulled from the store and ended up for a while at RDNA. Not sure, it is already a while ago that it happen but this is getting even worse. ( so why did this release end up as a scandal it was just a pair of Diapers ) See every individual take things in a different way some could take this act as a "affront" not just because it is an anime but already by changing the splash screen by force!

I think bondware thought to be a little dramatic so why not be also a little dramatic about this dramatic act :)

Seriously !!?? all this is not professional, more like a "kindergarden" ! feeling ashamed on where Poser is leading to. Thinking it could not get worse? There are still some professionals using Poser for there work ! And I do not think that they think it is funny getting random ad splash screens !

Many cultures interpret Anime manga in different way's some could even see it as Podophilic advertisement it sort of also attracts these if we are looking at it in a serious way! You could of named it "Comic girl" sounds more like a action hero to me, but well if this community rather wants to step into manga hentai then go ahead. This whole stuff is really disgusting me but that's me !

Sure do not like the idea that they start to access Installed poser on a machine and change stuff without letting you decide weather you want an update or not ! This sounds like the free Android apps that places adds on your Phone and you end up with a big load of garbage. Another good reason avoiding Programs that need to be connected online !

This splash screen is sure forced Publicity on your computer for a new product release , not funny at all ! wonder what is coming next ending up with store adds on poser start up ?

"Stand Alone" would be a good thing believing that such would be the most secure way of creations. A "Summoner's" thing atm and seems to work quiet well ! forender 3d used also to make quiet allot with success but stopped and making them for Daz now. Sure allot more work making standalones as you have to do the rigging from scratch and not just copy paste from a existing doll, the one needs great experience to make stand alone figures of good quality and creators in here that are left for poser do not have that experience jet ! Most of the capable ones from witch others could of learned left or gotten bugged out of the communities.

In the poser galleries you can see quiet allot of standalone figures used in Poser ! So it seems that some might be quiet popular.

Yes there are still creators around that make M4 V4 products. They are just not selling at renderosity one of them is "Xurge3d Corporation" just having Anniversary Sales making really cool stuff, well one of the old ones that is still capable of making good looking outfits. Most good Creators jumped to DS, A hand full Artists make outfits for La femme but for my taste not what the old ones were capable of creating when V4 was on top!

So if you are looking for V4 M4 new releases then you might have to google a little around with some luck you will find these, the few in here are mostly concentrating on La femme releases :)

Yes like bwldrd said it is based on the old "Advanced Lights and Camera Guides" but it is a upgraded version as the original version does not work correctly anymore using poser 2014 up, so it is a modification that loads directly from the poser library. Mentioned that there might be someone here that is able making a rebuild as the one I got is derivative, with real time effects. this whole system is also expanded to be used to create flashlight or beam effects directly in combination with the spot lights in poser ! Good for head lights or breaking lights in windows with a touch of fog effect, well actually a great setup for wide range of effects.

but like I said, there might be a rendo user that is capable of creating a independent package not based on the shaderwork product to offer to the community with these features. The ones I got can't be shared !

I assume you are looking for something like this !? Might be an option that will only work until poser 11 poser 12 up will not give this option

Back after my little 3 Day ban :) :)

Not a windows issue! It was a known issue at smith micro caused by the activation method ( Call Home ) in poser 11++ that had cycle renewing. crashes that were caused from hierarchal changes either in the hierarchy editor or in the setup room some in the material room, even if a change got pulled with no intentions could cause poser to crash in a heavy way blowing off the Licence in the activation folder, also other personal settings could of gotten affected after such a crash up to a big kill that poser could not be started again.

SM fixed the issue by activating a permanent Licence in poser what actually prevented such heavy crashes in the setups.

assuming that this fix got removed when bondware made a roll back on the activation system of poser setting it to renewing Licence.

you can find the issue in the Poser log file if you want to figure out how much damage your crash caused sending it to bondware. I just do not recall where that Logfile is :( :( :( been quiet a while since i used it last. but bondware might be able telling you where it is located.
